Hello everyone. This is my first grow. I have 21 plants. I want to ask if they look like they are the size they should be. I think I have everything figured out if the size is about correct

i started the 15th of feb (germinating)
i planted in pots with soil on the 22nd of feb

so it has been about 4 weeks since i started germinating, but 3 weeks since i planted them

tell me what you think please. ask me stuff or whatever.

i have 4 flourescent tube bulbs, each 2400 lumens. and 2 cf? bulbs

the temp idk exactally because i dont have a thermomitor, but its above 72, but below 82

i have an rotating fan in the room as you can see

also i have a 5 gallon bucket of water for humidity, and also i use that water to water ( so its left out for a while before i water)

i have only been needing to water every 4th or 5th day or so.

i have fresh air comming in from a computer fan connected to a tube and the tube is places next to a vent that is outside.

i dont have exhaust yet, but i do have a hole for air to escape out to outside, but no fan forcing it out.

my main curiousity is do they look like they are to short and they are just getting to wide? so should i raise the lights a little?

anything helps thenk guys

oh and also they are ALL the same age. but in picture 6 you can see 3 are alot smaller. that is becuase i guess somehow there was 3 in 1 dixie cup (before i transplanted) so the roots were really tangled and they were all fighting for the water, so they are ALOT smaller. but i managed to split all them up and save all of them. haha its sweet. but lets hear from you

Looks good bro but your going to have serious issues with 21 plants, the first thing you need to do is get away from them shop lights if at all possible, there is no substitute for a High Pressure Sodium light system, the shop lights will not keep the plants happy once they grow larger & will produce small loose buds & your plants will stretch badly.

The second thing is ventilation,i cant stress enough on how important proper ventilation is,that computer fan along with the collapsable duct is about as much air as a mouse fart, with 21 plants,no intake & subpar circulation your sure to have serious issues with mold & powdery mildew later on,with that many plants you should have atleast one 6 inch intake fan just above floor level & one 8 inch exhaust fan very near the ceiling, plus atleast one 16 or 20 inch oscalating fan to circulate.

Your plants should always be fluttering from the air being circulated, this helps them grow & spider mites do not like blowing wind so it makes it harder for them to breed.

The last & most important thing is the saftey of your room, you have wires & stuff laying all over, they need to be raised up off the floor & tied off so they can never come in contact with even the slightest amount of water.

I know what i wrote sounds bad but its not, these are all easy things to correct with a little time & a little cash, your yeild will greatly increase as a result.

Edit, forgot an important tool, you need to be able to know the exact temp of your room at all times as well as the humidity level, you dont need anything fancy or expensive either,Home Depot sells combination Thermometer/Hygrometers for $5 each & they work great.

BTW your Peter Rabbit buckets DO demolish all,i love them

hahah thanks man, about the intake, i have a 6" fan on the other end of the duct tube that will blow in fresh air, but i havnt turned it on yet because i feel like they arnt big enough yet to use it, but i guess i will take off the bomputer fan on this end and plug in the 6" fan.

and for everything els, all is taken, I will be fixing everything :)

where do you suggest the best place to get a High Pressure Sodium light system and how much do they run?

keep it all comming everybody. everything helps sooo much. first grow ever so i keep learning while i go, and you guys are the people that teach me.

THanks

lets hear more

The world is your town brother, use the internet to your advantage & stop thinking you need to buy stuff in person, the real deals are on the www,not in stores.
