1st Cure. 1st grow , first dry.. thank god its over.

Well , after 14 weeks , months of darkness ( IN BEDROOM) and $725.00 later I was able to dry and begin the cure process.
I grew 7 plants and ended up with 191 grams or about 6 oz. Since this was my first grow I didnt know about topping them and or ways to increase
yield. Most of the experts say if you can get a gram a watt them you are doing amazing.... I am close to the .5 gram a watt area and think that if I step it up
AND get a 600 watter next grow , incorp some kind of tie dow, top, pop, technique I can get upwards of 10 OZ... hopefully.
But I will growing in the same tent and really think I can do more with 5 plants instead of 7. 7 was too many for my tent size which prevented light getting down low
( 600 may cure that ) and giving the lower buds light to dense up.
All in alll I am VERY happy with my 1st go and with my jars , my lovely lovely jars in the closet , waiting patiently for their time in the "Sun"003.jpg005.jpg

after I was able to finsih this I made hash using only DRY ice a 220 bag and a gallon bucket. I used a T press I bought on Ebay for 12 bucks . I only did two batches of trim ( 3 oz ) and got these 8 lil 1/2" hash balls... its drying now and hopefully over the course of next few days I will see it harden and turn into good hash,

Good work! I finished my first harvest in January -- and now am reaping similar rewards. Congrats!

And isn't trimming a bitch??? The pros would say so, and I thought they were just being spoiled. But damn trimming sucks!

Still worth it, though.

DID all the time alone- 5 hours. fucking hell back was sore as fuck. maybe elec. trimmer next time..... but ya that shit sucks ...

shit brother if you think 5 hours is a long time TRY WEEKS ON END of trimming. If you think your back is fucked, i still feel the pain from last years outdoor harvest ;)

Congrats on wrapping your first grow. Already planning your next one, that's good. I completed my harvest last week and I'm already bored to death without something going on in the grow room.

it was found on ebay for like 130$ but even at 166$ it's a bargain! HygroHybrid did an awesome review on YT but it's no longer available..i'm getting one..the model he got was Leaf Trimmer M-6000SBU 16" Bowl Trimmer..haha it's out of stock..guess this company got sold out after the YT review..

love the idea^^^^but doesnt most of the tricomes grown end up on the fan blades and grill? months of growing for hardly anything to get you stoned sounds like a waste of a lot of time and money for something as small as that. trimming suchs but if it means me not losing my resin then i'd say trimming the best way to go

i love my trimming ritual, i call my 2 best buddy growers and my dad over, and we kick back a few beers, smoke some joints and scissor hash. goes pretty quick with 4 people with my gardens at least

no the trichs are protected by leaf and after a few spins you end with cabbage and 1/16th of leaf..i wish that vid review was still available..i'm totally sold

Good job and I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I have my Medical card because my back is major-ally FUCKED up! I wasted my back about a week ago when I lifted the plant I cut down for curing.

In fact, I need to go smoke a bowl! :weed:

so after 5 days in jars i think that most of the stems snap ( stay semi together ) . so now I think i can really let the cure begin.

On a side note. I made dry ice hash with a 220 bag , and think I got keif balls ( wet ones ) lol and still not dried yet but are getting harder.
would baking on a low temp ( 110 ) for a few miutes then rolling in celphane or something bring a more dark color that HASH should look like
mine is light green right now

next grow YES, although wonder if 600 is better but even if not i ll get 4 or 5 gallon ( not 2 gallon ) pots and grow bigger , topped higher yielding babies

check out my journal harvested this past friday upped the game to 7 gal buckets from 3 gal and OMG..roots, roots, it's all about the roots! haha

Exactly!!!- All the reading for upgrading yeild has to do with obviously more light more in my case more importantly BIGGER pots. no morem2 gallon next time , a jump to a 5 gallon should grow bigger girls thus more medicine. ALo given that my tent height with light is about 45+- "

i'm gonna really turn this shit up now with a recycling can grow for my ken's gdp..i'll have journal entry in a day or so.
