Hi guys. Me and my brother are starting a grow. Here are the 6 strains we are using all fem.
Northern Lights
Royal Bluematic
White Widow
Sugar Mango Ryder
Night Queen
AK/White Widow

we had a C99 seed but it was a shit seed so it never rooted.

Here are the specs of our grow room.
1.5ft by 2ft. 6.5ft high.
250w hps with reflector.
183m cubed per hour extractor with a carbon filter. Intakes at the bottom.

Soil is JI#2 with about 30% perlite.
Also planning to use Bio bloom and bio grow.

At the moment the AK/WW has sprouted and is winning. Night queen is coming close behind and the Northern lights and the other 3 are about to sprout as well. Right now we have them all under a 20w cfl.
Finally, here are some pics.

This is our first grow so some pointers would be great. Thanks guys :)

A few tips: When you repot ( I'm assuming you will ), bury the plants to within 1" of the bottom set of leaves ( yes, you can do that ).
Get more light and get it closer to the plants. Here's a chart. when those 6 girls ( hopefully ) get big 250W ai'nt gonna be enough to keep 'em happy.

How does that chart help? it does not say anything about how much light, only how far from the plants. We could just lower the bulb.
And with the space we have, 3ft squared, i would say that 250w is fine.

Yea your 250watt HPS will work just fine with that small grow space. I'm using a 250watt HPS in a 3 foot x 1 1/2 foot & 6foot tall cabinet. I was originally going to go with a 150watt, which would have worked fine as well but I decided to go with the 250w since it fits.

Yeah thanks, that's what I thought. They all under a 20w cfl and a 30w cfl. That should be fine for another few days to a week. But we will put them under the hps as soon as the intake holes are drilled.

they are already stretching a bit. So more light soon. And go all with the bright white light, not the warm light for veg. I guess if you have one more day until you use the hps it wont matter much though. Just get them as close to the bulbs as possible until then (and do what greenlikemoney said when you transplant). Your spacing will be a slight issue if your not careful. You are going to want to flower relatively early and train your plants. Many ways to train, but topping then lollipopping is a good way to go with that many plants. Have fun
