1st cheap cfl-veg/hps-flower med grow !! Lots of pics !!

plants look awesome! if your at day 24 now you should top them at day 28 and then veg for another week giving your plants some time to recover and making it an even 5 weeks of veg, should make for an awesome harvest and yield. just my 2 cents

forgot to add that i had a plant that started showing signs of flower about a month into veg with a 24/0 light cycle, never did understand how that worked but she ended up being my strongest and highest yielding plant that grow. embrace your eager girl!

Agree, veg for about another week, and you know to switch to 2700 cfls when you go into flowering right.

I have about 8 of those 2700k bad girls ready to go, and 3 in the flower chamber already
my lights fell on the plants today while i was adjusting them, they were on them for about a second & the stems a little bent, but not snapped. I tied her up with string so she stands straight again Will she be okay ?

Topped 1 yesterday to see how she recovered. The flowering plant has a few leaf burns from a cramped cfl box, but im building her a new roomier setup today. She just hit 14 inches !

3 main colas coming from both topped plants & some nice preflowers! all 4 plants r 4 1/2 to 5 weeks old!! How do they look 4 a nute free veg ? any suggestions for good cheap flower nutes ?

Heres some pics finally lol. its Day 40 from sprout & i topped 2 of the vegging plants and to my surprise they both popped up 3 heads instead of 2 lol...
Day 22 in flower for the one girl in the budding cycle & everything's going pretty smooth

I just ordered a 250 watt hps ballast/reflector system & a bottle of Dyno-Gro Liquid Bloom flowering nutes. I did a bit of research & its the only good flower nute i could find that came in one bottle lol.

Anyway, heres the pics...

how long until harvest? 2 weeks ? a month?

my guess is 5-7 weeks. unless you plan to harvest early. You want the buds to get HUGE with your HPS!

Ive been hearing great things about the Dyna-Gro Bloom nutes too

Ill be posting more pics later on today, were on day 42, Flower day 24

250watt hps came in this morning and I set up a new flower room in my closet. All 4 plants are under the hps with 2 cfls in the middle. Ill take pics of the setup later today when im not as dim haha.

tis looking good to me so far man plants look nice and healthy. ill be keeping an eye out to see how it all goes on.

since you're doing a closet grow where are you venting the outtake air to and are you planning on using a carbon filter?

i have 2 fans in the room (one oscilating on the plants and one aimed at the HPS light to keep the room cool) & the window in the room im growin in is wide open. Do you think its well ventilated enough ?

they look healthy enough so i cant really say on that. i was under the impression it was best to have a good outtake so plants get a constant supply of fresh air coming from the intake. im thinking of starting a closet grow instead of a pc grow but i don't wanna leave my window open during the upcoming winter for fresh air cos it'll be freezing in my room all the time. i cant win lol

haha yeah im canadian bro i have the same issue. im thinking of getting a porta-heater and leaving it in the room outside of the closet to keep it warm without overheating the closet. we'll cross that bridge when we come to it tho lol
