I have one successful clone going of minnie and a few attempts that haven't rooted yet. I've germed another unknown and I have a few that I'm waiting on to sprout.
So far I'm planning soil. I have to get this down first before I attempt anything new.

LOLOLOL! Yep.
The problem I have is I'm using a closet. The closet has no power outlets. So....the cords come out of the bottom of the closet and because of that, the door doesn't latch very well. This smart little feline puts his paw under the door and pulls it open.
I've started putting a small desk chair in front of the door to keep him out of it. Problem is, I'm a stoner and sometimes forget.

Took some good pictures, finally. My camera's up and running again.
Ended up harvesting Lisa. She's hanging dry. After the cat damage and sampling, I may get 1/2-3/4 oz.
The first two pictures are Tessa. She's lost most of her big fan leaves. Slowly but surely they've yellowed from the bottom up and fallen off, but the buds are still healthy. Not bad for having half her stem cut off.
The second two pictures are Veronica, the big sativa. She's really filling in up top and her "cola" is thickening. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eight pictures are Minnie, the pink surprise. The last two are the baby. It's just downright pitiful, but she's budding and trying her best. She has about five nodes, but the bottom leaves have fallen off.
I'm looking at about two more weeks before I cut.
I'm getting psyched!
Meanwhile, minnie's clone is about 2.5" and thriving. She looks like a little bush.

Veronica's clone has sprouted roots! YAY! I was really hoping I'd be able to get a successful clone off her her.
I repotted Minnie's clone to a bigger pot. She was already shoving her roots through the bottom of her beginner pot.
Otherwise, nothing new to report.

its so funny to hear you talking about your BF bitching about the smell, in just about every other scenario its the woman bitching about the smell...
if my wife were like you - every room in my house would be a grow room, and we'd be sleeping under HID's lol
you should have a good harvest for some random plants you found in your back yard and some CFLs... that will be some good smoke, especially cuz you grew it yourself.
if you ever decide to buy genetics... a good indoor strain for you would be any of the Lowryder crosses... they flower automatically under 18 or 24 hrs of light and grow to be no more than 24" tall. Oh yeah, and they flower fast, you can smoke them in less than 90 days.. (the original lowryder claimed seed to bud in 60 days i believe) I've never tried them but they would be perfect for your setup... you can also get feminized versions of them, which means they come with bubble bath soap, loofahs, and fingernail polish.... nah, it means they will definitely grow up to be girls.

Bloodshot - Thanks! I've been thinking that I want to try a lowrider strain after I get on my growers feet. I'm going to try to get a cycle going, and if Minnie's clone becomes anything, I'm going to clone a few off her.

Hey rambler, Is you power outlet on the other side of the closet wall? I had the same problem with cords running under the door. I then installed a 4 way outlet on the inside of the closed to hide everything. It was pretty simple seeing how I have limited home electrical knowledge. If you are online you can research how to do it. Maybe an idea. It has worked well for me and it cost about $25 total. BTW I love this thread

...Harvested Tessa yesterday. Ima dumbass and didn't take pictures. She's drying now. She had about 5% amber trichs. I wanted to see what the speedy buzz felt like.
Minnie's close. I'm guessing she's about a week away. The hairs are starting to look brown, but no sign of amber trichs yet.
Veronica is definitely sativa. She hasn't shown any signs of being anywhere near ready. I'm guessing 3-4 more weeks for her.
On the flip side, Minnie's clone is 5" tall. She'll be going into 12/12 in about a week. I'm going to take some clones off her before she goes.
Lisa's clone, taken in November, finally started rooting. She was almost on death's door before she did. She was a branch in water for over a month. Her leaves were curling up and looking downright pitiful. I put her in dirt and I think I see new leaf growth.
Veronica's clone is hanging in there, but it still thinks it's flowering. It's 3/4" tall and in full bloom. I'm trying to force it back to veg, but we'll see.
minnie's second clone had an unexpected beheading. Quite pitiful, actually. She was a branch in water, and doing rather well. When I take a clone, I get a small jar, fill it with water, put saran wrap over it and put a rubber band around it. I poke a hole in the middle and put the stem in the water. This time, when I took the rubberband off, I was high and not paying attention. It ripped her whole leaf structure off. Feeling guilty, I planted the healthy stem and root structure in hopes we might get new leaves. So far, not happening....but I haven't given up yet.

No. I set them on a shelf over my kitchen sink under a dim flourescent light that stays on 24/7. So far I have a 100% success rate, although some are taking considerably longer than others.

I have three clones vegging right now. One's from Lisa, one's from Minnie and one's from Veronica. I'll be putting the Minnie clone into flower in about 2 weeks. I'm going to try to keep these strains going.
