started germing 4 seeds on the 10th. put them in rockwool and soil on the 12th. a papaya and aurora indica went into a bubbleponics set up(thanks roseman) the 2 auto-blueberry in soil. i am using 4 42w cfl until they get a little bigger, then switch to my 400w mh. any positive input will be appreciated. i have heard the blueberry is nute sensitive, so anyone who has grown it successfully can give me some tips. thanks and enjoy the grow.:weed: i will:peace:

Well at least my original blueberries from Dj short were sticklers for low ppm. If I went over 600ppm in veg they would give me hell. And I went no higher then 1000ppm for flowering. Otherwise they are a great strain to grow. Quality and quantity wise. Regular finisher also at about 8 weeks. And yea yours are looking fine at the moment. I would feed them straight ph'ed water until they reach their 3rd to fourth leaf set. Then start at around 300ppm and gradually raise it weekly. As for papaya I couldn't tell you cuz I never grew it b4. But following the same guidelines as the blueberry wouldn't be all that bad. Keep me updated! []Deace!

Oh yea and keep your ph at 5.8. And an occasional dip to 5.5 isnt all that bad either. But for the most part keep it around 5.5. And by the way what nutes are you using?

i don't have any nutes right now. i am looking around to see what is good and try to get some.my last soil grow got dutch master advaced just like my dwc. my last when also got 5.6 water and it kept the soil around 6.1. it did alright. what soil nutes do you use? i have been hydro growing. just decided to do these in soil. last time i grew in soil was outside 30 years ago:roll:thanks for the input.:peace:

I use general hyrdoponics micro and bloom. I leave out the floragro because I use the lucas formula (https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/4387-lucas-formula.html) It is super cost effective and gives astounding results. Check my grow to see. And since I go pure synthetic I also use 3% hydrogen peroxide @ 1 cap per gallon. I also use other supplemental nutes but that is the bare essentials. Gh flora series nutes and h202(hydrogen peroxide) You can do this in either soil or hydro so it works awsome. For veg you simply just use 5ml of micro and 10ml of bloom per gallon of water. And if you have high ppm levels in your tap water i suggest using flora micro hardwater. Get back at me with any other questions. []Deace!

Hey man, nice little set up. I'm also going to have to get a meter to start checking ppm pretty soon to be on the safe side. I almost kinda want to go balls to the wall and just see if I can pull this off being stubborn and doing it my way, but I've never really grown anything before so my grow is also an experiment to see if I can do this. If not, I'll change my medical grower designation to my mom since she has a green thumb and has been coming over to check out the babies. She's a hippie and smokes so she's a bit stoked on my project.

So I think with this grow I am going to try to find a method that works well and just stick with it since not too much will vary between grows. I do want to experiment with some other strains and have been thinking about ordering some feminized WW seeds from Nirvana, or perhaps a different strain. Either way, I am thinking that WW might be a good suitor for going bubble. I just need to find a strain that does well and also has a pretty decent potency and yield. I know I will eventually dial in what works and what doesn't, so experimentation will be key as long as I control it. +rep

Did you follow the manufacturers guidelines and go full strength on your solution? If so that may be the culprit. Usually you wanna start off with a quarter strength nute solution and gradually raise the concentration (ppm) over the plants life cycle. Eventually topping out at around 1000-1400ppm. But I would germ those little bad boys asap and get em going. Because stress can have an altering affect on plants. What I mean to say is stress can reduce the plants vigor and even pest resilience. So if you start some new ones from scratch and pay close attention to them they should have more rapid growth and bud development. Then you can clone the strongest one out of your ladies with the least stressed genetics. Which in turn should give you some strong plants in the future.

i use dutch master advance. they have a website with a feed table. you star at about 400ppm then week by week work up to 1300 by the 4th week of veg. then works down to just water for the last week. my last grow went smooth, the wifey says i started earlier than my last grow. i waited 10 days last time. only 5 days this time. i flushed them with ph'd water again today.:peace:

:leaf:16 days. the auto blueberry is looking good. the aurora indica is still alive but not growing. flushed it twice and now using nutes at 1/3 strength. 1 of the trainwrecks has germed and started in a dwc with a pump to keep the water flowing. the other 1 sprouted but never came up:wall: i will put up some new pics soon.:peace:

:leaf: 21 days since germ. upped my nutes on the aurora indica, she is finally coming around. i bent the trainwreck (8 days since germ). will add some nutes in the next couple days. now i will lst it to keep the height close to the ai. i gave the auto-blueberry some hydro nutes at 1/4 strength, it seems to have made the girls happy:weed:

nice setup. I'd definately have to agree with the 1/4 strength on the nutes. My first grow I nuked mine pretty good in veg and regretted it through flower as i had to really limit their feeding.

Im now on my second attempt and have some decent genetics to play with, 2 nirvana Ai's, 1 greenhouse fem twreck, 1 white rhino, 1 church in week 6 of veg.
Been feeding them very lightly with the General Organic lineup (GenHydro's New Line) and they look amazing.

I have a question for anyone who has grown AI, mine are only at around 13'' tall with 7-8 nodes and I'm wondering should I be veging any longer? Height inst a problem really, in fact id like to get them to 4ft in the end. Ive heard that Ai stays short tho and my twreck is at 21" so I dont want to veg much longer if the ai isnt going to take off.

Lookin amazing. Your ladies look sooo jealthy green man. As for the ? About ai it will come around depending on age but if height isn't an issue get them about 2 foot and flower. I would lst the widow so it doesn't overtake ur light
