After I get the cooker and the tent, etc., I'll fill the rest of the truck with firewood, sounds like a few folks are bringing some. I'd estimate that I'll bring about 4 wheel barrow loads of dry pine....burns like gasoline

LOL ! how fast do you drive LOL. We are just a bit west of you. I could meet you down by the 15 215 area but not sure which way you go let alone me for that case yet. LOL.

i think for me fastest is the 5.well what is this place called again,ill just map it.

Still working on it guys! Its gonna be close. I am supposed to be spending the weekend hanging out with my lil brother and then hit my company party both being in the Bay Area. If I can get out of those I will be there! I will hopefully know for sure tomorrow.

Just in case some of you dont use googlemaps or simply do not know how to read a map

I suggest taking I-80 east from Sac towards Reno then Hwy 65 north from Roseville.

When you hit Wheatland, its a right at the first light. Thats Main st.. that turns to Spenceville/Camp Beale Rd. There is a grocery store not far down main on your right if you forgot anything and did not stop in Roseville.

Here is where you need to pay attention.. lol. About 6 miles out, you make the sharp right turn on Camp Far West Rd to the lake. There is a sign and also a new mini storage place on the corner.

IF YOU DONT MAKE THIS TURN, YOU END UP AT THE GATES OF BEALE AIR FORCE BASE. And you are then at their mercy. Minimum is they will take your ID as you have to turn around just inside of the Base.. I had this happen a couple years ago. But you do get your ID back when you exit haha. I also have had to go through the inspection station last summer, but at that time I was meaning to go on the base. Once you see you have gone too far.. its too late. You can not turn around as there is lotso security features before the gate. Just pay attention and you wont miss Camp Far West Road..

When you see the Dam and bridge, take a left before the bridge. The kewlest BBQ around is on the North Side of the Lake =D
