1lb plant goal.

My goal is to harvest 1lb of dried smoke off of one plant in Dwc. I've started from clone 60/30 mainly indica with a morphadite gene. Instead of the plant having two nodes per tier it has three. The seed company I got the mother from claims it grows anywhere from 400-600g per sq meter. I am growing with Canna Aqua,CaliMagic, Rapid Start, and Orca. I started this grow journal approx 60 days into veg so its a little late but my goal is to see if it is indeed possible. I have topped the plant once and have let it grow vertically. I plant to lst all the limbs down with a trellis once the plant is big enough to fill my 4x4 tent and let it grow through the trellis until all the new tops are 6-8in. I will upload pictures later today.

I agree with green...thats going to be a hard goal to accomplish...I can barely get a lb. off two plants...so i'm subb'd

Hey akislander..

I have produced 12 Oz's from one plant before so I imagine it could be done. I have not made it to a pound but I was pretty happy with 12 Oz's, so good luck with your goal..

I have some friends that have produced a pound from a plant but they were out doors and they grew as tall as his roof. So if you have the right strain that can do it, it can be done more than likely.

The strain I like to grow is not a big producer and it puts out 6 to 8 Oz's per plant.. Good luck..

you will pull a pound no problem, make sure ur enviroment is right

air exchange 2ce per min inside the groom, fresh air coming in so the ladies and lap up that fresh air

plenty DO in ur res and dont have temps above 20deg in there get some bennies in never hurts,

train that plant so u have as many sites as possible around your spread are youl pull a 1lb plant no problem

1gpw is doable with optimal conditins long veg with 1 tree

subbed good luck mate

ive pulled 19oz dry from a agent orange plant with rdwc

optimal enviroment is KEY

I'm running orca for bennies and my res temp stays at 68*f so as for that I think I'm good. Time will tell its almost big enough to throw into its permanent tent but I have to wait for the one that's in there to Finnish first. It still has at least two weeks I'm hoping I don't have to crop early but I'll be running short on room soon if the big one grows another 4" in height.

Akis...Those plants are looking healthy my man...try to tuck the side fan leaves under so they arent blocking side bud sites from growing...youll get more side branches up in the air

I spent all yesterday setting up this new tent just for my pounder. I'm burning a 400mh for now until the plant gets used to how much light its getting now then I plan to up it to 600. Its in a super hood so the light distribution is oustanding. I built this scrog net and set it in there to spread the plant out and hopefully in two weeks I'll have the whole tent filled from this one plant.

Here's a 1week into scrog veg update.
This beast is drinking 4gallons of nutes a day running at 400ppm. I'm using a trunchion ppm rod its not specific. I had a split in the main stalk that my baby is recovering from but I've had worse and this healthy baby will pull through like the last ones. I didn't take the time to flex it and bend it as much as I should have so its a learning point for next time. Its almost filled my 4x4 tent and its getting better.

image.jpgimage.jpgBtw. I've ran only 2 hydros in 5 gallon buckets. One was about 5-6oz but the last was closer to 8. The 8oz run used almost 1/4 of the tent. It was a clone from my avatar pic...critical jack. Good luck!

Not sure why so many people are saying it's near impossible, I did it almost by accident a few times with a medium yielding strain. I am limited by plant numbers in a med state and had two extra plants that were way too big to fit in my normal flower tents with the rest and had an empty 4x8 tent with 2 1k's ...I vegged them an extra two weeks for a total of 6 weeks veg, and scrogged them both, one under each 1k with a 4x4 screen to itself, RDWC for Flora Duo nutes and Aquashield, 56 day flower and got 15.5 from one and 17 from the other...wasn't even really expecting more than 16 from BOTH but when given the space and the light they will surprise you.

A lot of people like the transition when vegging the plants with a 4or600 watt mh up to 1000hps. The plant needs more light in flower than it does in veg so its more of a saving on electricity. If I had my own place instead of renting I would wire the whole room so I could use 1000s all the way but my breakers can't handle that kind of load where I am.

Alaskans right to privacy in their homes allows <25 plants in any combination of stage. It trumps the medical law up here which only allows 6
