1k HPS power cord

I'm missing my power cord that goes from the ballast to the plug, it is 120volts. Do I have to order a ballast specific power cord from online where I purchased the light years ago or can I pick something up at my local Home Depot ?

well what type of ballast do you have? hydrofarm? sunsystems? need to look because they use different plug types. It's an older heavy as hell magnetic ballast purchased from canadianwholesalehydronics, it doesn't even show a brand on it

well look at the outlet on the ballast see what it looks like 1 has 3 round pins the other has 2 flat pins and 1 round pin another looks like a computer plug in then just look on amazon for the correct plug type. Can you get a picture of the plug type on the ballast or let me know what the plug looks like so i can give you a better idea?

ya that is just a normal power cord like the 1 i linked you might be able to find it cheaper on there if you look around

Thank you so much! I will try to dig one up as I have an old tower sitting around , I know it needs to be 12 gauge for safety

ya make sure it is at least 12 the thicker the better tho no reason to start a fire (unless it's the good kind)
