Hi, I need some help ASAP on my flowering room. I have 1 1000w HPS in an Xtra Sun Reflector , and 2 400w MH. One MH bulb is a Sun Agro( must burn horizontal) which claims to be HPS and MH in one. The other is regular MH. I have a 42" parabolic reflector, and a home made reflector.
How should I position the 400w MH's with the bulbs and reflectors I have. Here are plenty of pics......
Pictures include:
1. Flowering Room currently (400w MH vertical barebulb)
2. Fan under vertical bulb(working great)
3. FLouros now using for veg.
4. Parabolic reflector in veg(Not gonna be used any more in veg, I would like to use it in flower?)

wow this shit looks beautiful bro! +rep!! i wouldnt put the mh or hps on the side like that these should be for the main part of the plant to produce bigger and massive top colas i would put the fluros on the side to promote undergrowth! put the mh and hps on top like your main light but lil lower if heat isnt a issue!

Here is my solution for now....... Flower Room: 1000w HPS, 400w MH, 400w MH Sun Agro added spectrum bulb= 1800ws total!
1. Flower Room with new light positions
2. more flower room
3. Veg room with flouros( need more tubes for the second set (tonight or tomorrow)
4. Flower room different angle

Oh wow wonder that looks great. I'm loving what you did with the new lights. Should up your weights in the long run. I'm looking forward to watching your upcoming grows after you get this setup dialed in.

After input from several fine member of RIU I changed the setup again, and have decided this is it. Moved the 1000w into the parabolic and a 400w MH(agro SUn Multi SPectrum Bulb) into the Xxtra Sun relfector. All I need is another Xttra Sun Reflector and a sun agro bulb to make it look all clean and shit.. for now the ghetto reflector.....

what are your temps with everything like that??? How do you keep
1800 watts of radiant heat cooled without any ducting or fans that
i see?

The way that the lights are set in the second picvture is the most effective.By useing the p reflector on it's side like in photo plants are getting light all the way up from bottom to top.I see no use in changeing the set up in any way you should get a great yeild of the lights that you are useing but make sure that you have a good ossalateing fan and a good exaust and your set.

I have a 13,000 BTU portable AC which lets me control the temps to whatever. Temps have been worse in the winter as the AC is working against the Baseboard heating(natural gas) which I haven't been able to isolate from the main thermostat in the house. I have access to the crawlspace, that just passivley lets cold air in for now.

It is set much differently now. I ended up moving the 1k hps into the parabolic and replacing the homemade hood with another xtrasun 6". Now I am vertical. The 1st pic is what came next after the pics above. and then the current
