18 gallon rubbermaid setup

Okay I have a 18 gal rubbermaid 18.4 in x 23.4 in I've wired a bathroom light fixture to the lid 3 light sockets will b getting y adapters from hd which will take me to 6 bulb slots will b going with 5 23 watt daylight cfl's and 1 26 watt warm cfl inside of rubbermaid will b lined with foil sheets will b going with soil. What could b added to this setup to improve it also will flower at 1ft also have another rubbermaid if needed if plants outgrow first box can just cut and stack

Build in an exhaust fan with a passive intake using a PC fan.

okay i cut into the side and put in a 6 in fan gonna cut a hole on other side towards top and add a pvc pipe for outgoing air

What kind of foil sheets are you using? Like kitchen foil?

Yeah its the kitchen foil stuff I'm gonna start a grow log just woke up 8 outta 10 seeds have germed

Order some panda film or mylar

emergency blankets are mylar in the local camping section. much better tha foil

Fill the 18 gal with dirt and go get a used 4oo or 6oo watt light over 2bins or 1ooow over 3bins each with 2 plants in each bin.Veg to 16 inches /flip Keepthe light on that shit for a lb {6oo/1k} or use the bin as a dwc res.
It will hardley be worth it if done with less than 4oow
The cfls are ok for veg but invest 175 in a 6oo w digital and have more meds for summer! Cheers

Okay so ur sayin just fill tub with soil and toss a light over top what would the yield b if I go with the 600 watt the 1000 watt dual aren't that exspensive over at htgsupply also this is in a attic right now should I build a grow cab to line with mylar to disperse heat sig

You'll have to build a grow box (or buy one) if you plan on using HID, they need a lot of room between them and the plants so they don't cook em (plus optimal light distance is around 5-7in I think for them) . If you're not going to hydro with the rubbermaid - thought you were - make sure to put drainage holes in the bottom of your container.

Also, about heat sigs... nobody gives a shit about them if you're not running a weed house.

Ofcourse! but it's gonna cost ya. The cheapest hydro is flood&drain. U could build one giant box and flood it with a powerful pump or 4 boxes and 4 pumps/4 output pump.
Or dwc and alot of airstones. I was planning myself, to do one of the above. Size for me would be 4' or 5' feet using a 600 hps.
How many gph air-pump would u use for your 8' grow-box?
