Hey folks.. by this time next week courtesy of Timber Light DIY I will be in possession of three 300w six CXB3090 COB kits totaling 900 Watts. Each kit will be complete with heat sinks and Meanwell HLG 320H drivers and potentiometers (dimmers)
I would value your opinions/suggestions concerning how to lay out my arrays in my 8x4 area. I was given the option to operate each array individually OR as a single unit. I think I'm going to go with the single.array option. On their recommendation I'm going with the 3500k variant. Soooo. How should I set up my 18 COBS in my 8x4 area ?? How do I determine the best layout for optimal use it what I've got. Is there a formula or what??
Thanks so much for your help."

Thanks Verticalg but how do I figure out the spacing? I mean how close to the edge of the space should the cobs be? They say 15 inches on center but I'm just not sure on placement. Maybe I'll just put a sheet of plywood on the ground and use that as a template of sorts.
What do you think about running the three arrays as a single unit with one potentiometer versus the three arrays being independent of each other. Also would you go with 3500k on everything or mix it up? See Yuh

ur welcome bro,
space each 3 COBs 16" apart over 4 ft
& 14" apart over 8ft.
3500k seems to be getting the best results overall but
some will argue untill the cows come home so it really
comes down to growers choice & strains.
