16 oz cup grow contest?

Fuck it, count me in. Ill start one or two of my freebies up in some 16 oz cups man. Fuckin Power SKunk looks like she could be a beast anyways. If i get a male, fuck it, ill just use the pollen to get myself some more bluecheese seeds, lol. All my seeds are feminized so if i get a powerskunk male im takin pollen and pollenating a Whiteberry branch, a WW branch, a Bluecheese branch, a Twilight branch, and a Northern Soul branch on all my plants man. Itd benice to never have to buy those strains ever again, lol.

So count me in just for shits n giggles i guess is what im sayin, lol. Ill even use Flora series nutes n not FF. Bloom Grow n Micro. Thats it.

So now, how long are we vegging for, or are we gonna do it straight up from 12/12?? somebody message me private to lemme know the parameters please, id greatly appreciate it.

damn it i want in but im still waiting on cuttings.. with the setup im using the cups are the only way to go.. at least for me

veggin for 4 weeks in a 16 oz cup aint a good idea. THEN you would be dealing with all kinds of space issues for the container. I would say from germ, veg for a total of 2 weeks, then straight into flower. Were not really going for quantity here, just quality, and hell - to even see if we can get some fully mature nuggets from it. 2 weeks veg, then into flower.
 
I tried this...I ended up having to transplant my girls were dying in those cups. Maybe when I become more advanced, but at this point...I can't do it.
 
I just started germing One Red Diesel and One Power SKunk seed. Im gonna veg for either two weeks, or until the plant gets 3 or 4 nodes, and then straight in to flowering. I am doing this just to prove that i can be done man. Im gonna be checking on the roots once a week, and pruning them down a little bit each time, just to make sure that the plant doesnt die. The idea is to LET THE PLANT BECOME ROOTBOUND to an extent, so it becomes a banzai plant. Any excess roots after that can be trimmed off to make sure that your plant doesnt fuck off. If anybody wants to start up just for fun, use bagseed, freebies, hell - anything you wanna use, just as long as its pot, lol. Im using either 16 or 20 oz paint mixing cups that i use for starter pots on all my grows. I cant remember the size, only that their just a TEENY bit bigger than the red beercups. Im even gonna start a grow journal for it. :D
 
I really want to try this, how can I get the little one to grow just the main bud, Mine now is about the same size, but very very bushy.
 
Well Ill give it a shot.
Ill try a couple outdoor and a couple indoors.
I dont know if it would be worth it though, the pot
the seeds came from was horrible.
 
I'm in. I've got some Afghani#1, Top 44, White Widow, And a load of seeds from the dam a friend gave me before he headed off to oz. I think ill do the seeds from the dam. Cant remember what he said they were. Orange somthing or other... Will pot tomorrow....

exactly how big is a 16 oz cup? is it the size of a pint glass? bigger? Those red cups arent too common over here, will find a substitute though.
 
the smalles coffe cup. at like 7/11. that size. just buy a bag of um at the dollar store, and it says the fluid Oz's on the side...
 
ok so theres 0.8 pints in 16 oz. Ill just purchase plastic pint cups. will do the job. ill post pics tomorrow of lights potting nutes etc,
 
Well here is my pics finally. Hope to see some others post. I dont remember if its my northern lights x skunk1 or blue cheese. I will know after a few more weeks. They look much different flowering. I am two weeks into flowering with nearly no veg time. Good thing I didnt because you can see the roots are getting pretty tight already. Did it in a clear cup so we could watch....ha. I have been harvesting after 8 weeks with these two strains but I think I need to go ten so I am going to try it with this little guy. I have 400hps and 400mh in a 5x4 room. Its not nearly enough as I thought it would be. Hope to upgrade soon to a 1000hps and the 400hps. Happy viewing
