I see this on fertilizers " - - - " with different numbers....what are these numbers representing and whats the importance of them?

Like kalama said, N-P-K values. Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium(potash), and how much of each is in the product. Also like kalama said, you should read the "GrowFaqs" for simple info like that. Good luck and welcome to RIU.
