What is the size of you grow area? Pics of your current setup would help..

Best thing you can do to increase the effectiveness is buy some Mylar

I use 2 150 watt HPS security lights. They are perfect for my 2' deep 4' high 4' wide grow box.
I use 4-4' shop lights with 8 full spectrum t-8's

I put one light on each end of the box & it works great. I think the sun lights hand from the ceiling? Unlike mine that are attached to the side walls of the box. I think they'll do you just fine.

Good luck

I used the 150W HPS Sun System fixtures (2) for my first grow + some CFL's along for side lighting. These should be just right for an area no larger than 36" X 48". But if I had to things differently, I would have bought a 400W HPS for flowering and a 400W CMH for veg. I am paying approx $80.00 per month power bill. There are many threads explaining such things here.

LST those plants like crazy, Keep your plant small with as many branches as you can. That light wont go deep. but you can do great with them if you work at it.

The sun system 150w is a good little unit. It is a small hood, the the reflective area is really limited. But what i did is added cfl's around the sides and it worked out perfect for 1-2 plants. It gets a little hot so make sure you got good intake and exhast.

Used one for my first grow and am going to use it again next round, got 2 oz from one plant last time. Great little light for the cost and for small spaces. Going to try it over 4 small plants this time. If you don't keep a small fan blowing on it the light will get hot and the ballast may get a lil noisy. It's nice in that the plants can grow up to around 4" away from the bulb before starting to show stress.
