Alright so I had these on 12/12 from seed, and out of my non feminized seeds I had 4/6 females. I transplanted my silver haze and the 2 best females from my cross (thai super skunk x indica). They have been on 18/6 after showing sex for 3 days, going to throw them back in 12/12 in a few days.

This strawberry cough just continues to amaze me, first strain to show sex, and fastest growth. Bought one single bean from SSB. The silver haze has really been taking off too, couldn't help but post a pic because she is looking so good right now.

Two thumbs up on the set-up. Those self-ballasted 150W lights put out very little heat when enough air flow is applied to them. No need for an exhaust, just add some CO2 when you flower and you will be very pleased. Make sure to run 85+ deg F temps for the CO2 to be utilized.

If you want to, here is an idea that works:

5 gal bucket
Water
Yeast
Sugar
Air pump
Air Stone
Tubing

Fill the bucket with the water/yeast/sugar mixture and drill two holes in the lid. Run a tube in to an air stone to the bottom of the container. the other just at the top to collect the CO2 generated. Then run the line to the backside of your circulation fan to mix the CO2 into the air.

This will last from 2-4 weeks, depending on how long you run it.

I moved the bagseed female into a bigger container and gave it some new soil.

I've got 110W of CFLs also so now I'm ~ 250W total.

i want to see how much bud you harvest, i did a sativa random bagseed took me 3 months to finish flower but i got 43 grams dried , very nice set up keep it up

so im assuming you've done this before (sexing from seed and revegging for a short time and than flowering again). How has that worked out for you in the past? I would imagine that this would be best with a longer flowering plants but interested in seeing the results in the end. Subscribed

Yea bro, sativas can yield quite a bit if you give them the time/space.

I have grown out this specific sativa bagseed strain before and got about 1.5oz dry off the plant 12/12 from seed with CFLs grown hydro.

Pic bump

Yea, I've done it twice before without any problems.

I just wanted to sex them ASAP and less light supposedly means more females so I kept them on 12/12 from the start, got 4/6 fem on reg beans, 2 of mine were feminized beans.

Wasn't planning on moving these plants out of the 32oz cups into bigger pots but I ended up doing it anyway, otherwise I would have just vegged these from the start.

I don't think the extra days of veg did too much since they were recovering from the shitty transplant job I did though.

I've done soil one other time before this, and maybe its because I haven't used good soil, but I really like hydro way better.

yeah probably because hydro grows faster in general. TY for update...good female to male ratio for sure I+ probably got the same yeild from my sativa that i vegged for a few weeks first.

Going to do a 6 plant hydro grow next run through with TSS x Indica, depending on how this next one turns out will determine if I veg them or give them 0 veg time.

Alright so heres a quick update, plants are doing good, finishing off the flower stretch, starting to frost up on some of the fan leaves.

I just took the runt plant that I transplanted out of the grow room and I'm just going to turn it into a mom.
