150 Gallon RDWC Nutes

I have a 12 site RDWC setup that uses three 50 gallon bins totaling 150 gallons, what are the best nutrients I can use for the least amount of money. I was thinking powdered nutrients but I'm just trying to get the most bang for my buck so to speak. Any specific recommendations with explainations will get +REP.

maxibloom from gh
GH MaxiBloom is missing all trace nutrients except iron, and it is low in nitrogen. That means you would also have to add Flora Micro. Maxigrow is missing all trace elements except manganese and Iron, so you would need to add FloraMicro. To be honest the Maxi products are areally just dirt growing water soluble nutrients with calcium and magnesium added so you do not need to add dolomitic lime to the soil. IE it is formulated for Northern California/Oregon/Washington outdoor dirt farmers using drip irrigation.

I highly suggest that you use standard GH Flora rather than FloraNova. FloraNova leaves out all the micro nutrients except the chelated iron. Theey add humic and fulvice acid extracted from brown coal. Real humus (in paratila decomposed organic compost contains trace elements, test show the coal extracted humus and fulvic acids conatin many mimerals but not all of those required ina hydro nutreint solution) IE it is simply a marketing scam to try to gain a larger segment of the market by making it sound like a healthier product. Not true as it is a coal extract not natural humus and all the najor fertilizer ingrediants are still just standard chemical fertilizers. Click on to the link I supplied . The next to the last page is a write up on humic and fulvic acids.

It is an inferior product in comparison to their standard Flora line. FloraNova provides no verbal or written guarantee that the FloraNova supplies all needed trace nutrients in their product guaranteed analysis. This would mean you would still need to add FloraMicro to insure their presence. Does that tell you anything????

I would not suggest FloraNova to a person I considered an enemy yet alone a stranger asking for help or recommendtaions. If you want a simple one bottle nutrient solution buy the Matrix solutions by the Suntec NZ Ltd people. MATRIX single Part Formula sold through American Agritech. There is a 1 Part Grow and a 1 Part Bloom formula. The guranteed analysis shows they supply all trace nutrients. including Chromium, Cobalt, Iodine Nickel and Selinium.

It is a fairly new product so not widely advertised yet.

Think where to buy.. and maybe you should buy lots at once. When ya grow do it well. Don`t try save too much from cornerstones. That is off from final result.

well yeah if I had the money I would buy advanced nutes full connoisseur line, but I don't, not for 200 gallons. Fatman you really know your shit! if regular flora is better then why does lucas himself say that floranova is better than the micro/bloom combo? I'm confused I just want to grow massive buds as cheaply as possible. I keep hearing the lucas formula is the way to go but which method?? Please if someone could tell me exactly what nutes to use and how much to use I would appreciate it. Don't comment unless you know from experience. Also fatman how would I go about making the formula from scratch? Where would I buy the raw materials? I'm kinda leaning in that direction now lol thanks!

Haha hey man likewise! Did you see my setup? I sent you a link on facebook. Anyway, have you seen the new matrix blue and red from suntec nz? Stuff sounds amazing but I can't find where to buy it other than from the manufacturer and they have a minimum purchase that exceeds my needs.

AN Connoisseur is not a great nutrient formulation Dude. GH Flora performs jsut as well as does AN's regular tow part formulation. AN would sell donkey urine as a supplement if it could arrange a steady source. Read and learn, read and learn. I have no reason to steer you wrong dude. I work for no one and receive no kick backs or benefits from anyone. I am a college professor with a hand full of science degrees. I write nutrient formulation software programs for fun when bored. I am also a very well paid consultant. I have grown indoor mj hydroponically since 1974 Dude. If you think my information is bad or that I am not credible it is no loss to me, but obviosly a loss to you. If you wish cheap nutrients simply go to my site on Lucas from scratch. If youthink FloraNova is better I can post directions to mix them from scratch also. No big deal. As far as the Connoisseur nutrients by AN they are simply a standard two part formulation to which they haveaded some amino acids. Thoseamino acidscan be added eaiily and fairly cheaply to any fertilizer Connoisseurat a miucl lower cost then using AN Connisseur nutrients. they havebeen fouldto provideno benefits in growth, yield or health in any cheniacl nutrient grow. The Connoisseur nutrient is entirelychemical other then the amino acids that are mainly chemically syntheseized. They seem to incraese yields in soil grows but not up to the performance of hydro grows without thean mino acids. They are a marketing scam if sold for use with inert hydro using chemical nutes. They are basically just chemical two part nutes with amino acids added. Would you like that recipe?????

I'm not doubting you at all man I'm just a noob that gets way ahead of himself sometimes haha. I saw the nutrient challenge and the Advanced nutrient line grew way more than all the others. I don't know man I can't afford that shit for my setup anyway and I believe you can do equal with less so I'm with you. I really like the matrix solution from suntec that stuff sounds great but where can I buy it? The website has a minimum order that is like $1400 for just the blue and that's way too much for me.

You have to order from American Agritech. They sell retaill by the single gallon. You would have to email them though as the adevertisements are not on-line for the Matrix yet it is relatively new product whre importation is only ecent. Last I herad it has not been yet tested by the states requiring testing for guranteed analysis.

Dude look what you just posted that I wrote. I said it is missing all TRACE elements except manganesse and Iron. Magnesium sug fur and calcium are not micro nutrients. Nutrients are made up of Macro nutrients (NPK) secondary nutrients (magnesium, calcium, sulfur), and micro nutrients (typically Iron, Manganese, Zinc, Boron, Copper and molybdenum). An apology is not necessary. Please learn from your mistake though.
