it's weird though, the closer the plants are to the 1000w the less development, the ones by the 400w are doing great(pictures 1/2/4)

On my first grow I has some problems with the seedlings growing slowly under a 600 watt hps. As soon as I switched it out for a 600w metal halide they took off. I mean they really took off. At three weeks (under hps) they where only about four inches tall. I switched it out for a metal halide and they grew two feet in two weeks.

If you have a digital ballast you should be able to just switch the bulb. If not, try some cheap flouros for a few days till they get a bit bigger.

I would be careful with those buckets your using. From one of the pictures it looks like the bucket is transparent. I would look into making sure that light cannot penetrate through those buckets at all.

Hey thanks for the tip, I just figured out that my 400w is a hortilux, the 1000w is straight in the red. So I'm getting more veg growth out of my 400w than my 1000w hahaha, nice.

Here are some pics! As always, my 400 watt'rs are doing better(pics 1/2/4)

And as promised, some rooooooots

Roots of the first plant(first pic)

Thanks again for stopping by :blsmoke:

thanks man!, Nah I've been thinking for a while that I don't need a drip system so I took it out. I don't do organics so I can put H2O2 in there at 8ml per liter no problem, takes care of all of my root/algae problems and since I've started using the H202 I haven't had any problems with my water/roots/ph. Each plant is in a 5 gallon bucket, red solo cup(as you can see) with the edges at the bottom cut so it can hold the plant in but still let a shitload of roots out almost 360 degrees. I let about 3-5 mm of the bottom of the cup in the rez, the hose is just an air pump to keep everything moving. =)

Just switched up the pics btw the ones I posted a second ago were yesterdays haha. MY bad they're up now.

This is a picture of my air pumps/hoses

My two air pumps go into that plastic 3L bottle, the bottle also has one output, that output goes to that air pump switch, then to my lovely ladies.

Also that way I don't have to go to home depot again (I've had to go three times because everytime I go I'm stoned and forget something) to get another relay thing for my hoses, I can use both air pumps with one thing divided between my babies.

Hey man, i'm not trying to cause trouble - no worries. Was just letting you know that bambaclaat is patois for ass-wipe. You can use 'absolutely gash' like you're saying fuckin great if you want, but you might offend someone!
