14/14 budding

I have an indoor hydro setup and I am in the midst of switching my light from being on during the day to the night so it will stay cooler in the closet. I was reading some of the forums for 14/10 flowering, so i am going 14/14 so that in 3 days it will offset the 12 hours i want. (My plants are 3 weeks into flowering.) Then i will go back to 12/12. Bad idea? Experiment? Doesn't matter?

If they are flowering you shouldn't switch to anything over 12/X, but if that is what you need to do, then do it.

just keep the light off until you want it on again.. dont increase the lighting hours
a couple hours of extra darkness wont hurt anything

I don't think you will mess anything up with going to 14hrs of light but the 14hrs of dark might speed up the process of getting the final product some.
I vote: experiment/doesn't really matter.

They have always tried this crap before and it never is as good as what the plant is normally use to. MJ has been growing for millenia now you are gonna throw it in some light schedule that it has never adapted too. The idea of indoor is to simulate perfect outdoor conditions. THis is simulating unknown conditions to the plant.
