12Volt fan that goes to a computer can i just sauder that to a power cord and plug it into the wall or is that too much electricity for that type of fan or does it not matter. I dont want to start any fires. thanks

a 12v PC fan is far overpowered by a 110v wall socket. ( 12v < 110v )

although.. if you're really set on using a pc fan, I have a spare power supply I can sell you. 530w Raidmax.

just get a 12v adapter, cut the end off then sauder the 2 wires to the 2 wires on the fan and your all set
