Cooool I accidentally left my green light on for my whole dark period ... I know it's rite for periods of time but was unsure about for a whole 12 hours this was the bulb , it's 60w (lowest I could find but still pretty dark and just fits into my ceiling light socket so it isn't really close to them either ) =\

Thats a little one. The ones ive seen are led strips X 4 in a bulb case. Like 50 led chips. Two will LIGHT a 10k grow when you need the light. The trick is to put them on a separate switch so you can turn them off.

Depending on the green light . yes plants don't see green. But a friend of mine had those green spot lights running for got to turn them off plants were herming . those bulbs were party bulbs . if I had to leave a green on I would do a led or cob with the spectrum green not a painted light bulb to shine green. Idk how long m.y friend had the green on.

Plants see all photons, to say they dont see green is quite scientifically incorrect.
