plants flower based off the amount of light they get in a day, not the color spectrum. If I was going to use one spectrum the whole grow i'd do 2700ks, but it would be better to have a mixed spectrum for both, thats what i do. With cfls getting more smaller bulbs as well is the way to go, you can then place lights all over the place shining on the plant so its getting bathed all over in light. sidelighting is crucial if you want big dense cfl buds imo too. 125w aint too bad of a start, i'd bump it up to like 300-400w, getting a few bulbs every pay check will be fine, . so basically im saying use the 125w for now over top as close as possible to the plants, in a week or 2 start adding sidelighting as the plants grow, 26w bulbs are pretty cheap. I was using 20 40w cfls in a 2x2x4 area on 1 plant, but i like to go to the extreme on things. lol.
