125 watts...how many plants

I'm going to be growing some hashberry...a short squat indica...and I'm wondering how many plants I could put under a 125 watt cfl

How many lumens is the light putting out? Probably about 3 plants at the most. But someone with alittle more experience can chime in on this.

You can probably get away with 4 small plants. I grew mine into there 3rd week and then switched the lights to 12/12 and they are now like 17-18 inches tall now at 22 days into flowering and they are close to double there size now.

Also is the light bulb an actual 125 watt or is it a equivalent to a 125watt bulb.

Make a good reflector for your light and you might have to add a couple 22 or 42 watt lights also.

where did you buy your cfl at....and does it screw into a regular light socket

I would like to know what light you are using... Brand name... ??

Its one of 3 possibles - envirolite, nlite or evo.

P.s If you want to grow just with one dont make the mistake i made, buy yourself one of those purple one's instead of RED !!!

Allthough i didnt need the red one for veg.... more like late veg..... Anyway i veg'd with FL's and 1 CFL ...... Came pretty nice...

I have yet to find a place to buy PURple nlites that will ship to the US...

Or a place online to buy any nlites for that matter... I thought i found ONE before but i cant seem to find it now... ??

I got the same 125 watt cfl from ACF with the hydrofarm reflector . I have 5 afghan sativas growing right now and it's working good. But I'm adding a 50 watt hps and a 25watt compact fluorescent and hopefully I will see even better results. Good luck to you with your added light and reflector as well.

hmm so maybe I should put out the extra $15 for the ones from acf, or would 7500 get the job done just as good ?

Have to be careful about lumen ratings i have seen ratings all over the board some less accurate then others (125w envirolight @ 12000 lumens sounds fishy)

I have that Hydrofarm setup... its not worth the money. The reflector is nice and the bulb is big obviously, but its VERY VERY difficult to arrange close to the plants.

You are MUCH better off with buying 4 42W CFL's plus hookups for it -- much cheaper and way easier to arrange lights around the plants that way.

Just my 2 cents...
