Welcome all,

Lighting: 2x 600w Lucagrow HPS
Tent: 2x2 Metre Indoor Elements
Fans: 2x 150mm Centrifugal (Intake and cooltubes), 1x 200mm Inline Fan (Exhaust) currently not in use due to noise. Switching to another centrifugal soon as i can afford it. 1x Oscillating Fan (Inside tent)
Air Pump
Nutes: GH Micro, Grow, Bloom
Addivitives: Floralicious Plus, Superthrive, KoolBloom, Flower Bloom Enhancer Growth Regulator (Chlormequat Chloride) used only in week 2-3 of Flower
Tempature/Humidity : 27°C - 34°C/55-65% Humidity (I live in northern australia so the tempature gets hot here but the intake fan is constantly running and I'm hoping that'll keep the humidity in check during flowering, otherwise I'm off to buy a dehumidifier)

Decided to skip the veg part of the journal and move straight to 12/12 which i switched to yesturday. The girls are all feminized seeds so i've no worries about sexing. I've started to flower them a little early since i've nothing to smoke til they're done . I've taken 10 clones from the JH's that'll go in straight after these are done.

First the two Jack Herer's

These two girls are about 1 month old, 2 weeks older than the WW's. Been topped 4 times and trained.

The two White Widows on the left

As you can see they're alot smaller than the JH's. The four grow chambers feed from the one rez that u can see on the floor (Need to cover up the holes in the rez lid). I'll be growing 8 plants in here next time round.

The cooltubes (pic 4) are run off a 150mm Centrifugal fan on the outside off the tent. The intake fan (pic 3) feeds from the window, sucking in air from outside the house and the exhaust duct (pic 1)and passive exhaust (pic 2) just feed into the room which doesnt seem to effect the temps inside the tent. I have a towel over the passive exhaust to stop light entering during the dark cycle. The insulated ducting does a great job cooling the air coming into the tent.

More pic's to come in a week!!! Stay tuned!!

Cool man, I'm subbed in here too Sytha. You didn't germ the JH the same time as the WWs did you? Also where did you top those JH? I topped above the second node for the Jackhammers that ended up male but these up and comers I have I topped above the 4th, so I'm curious.

Cheers mate.

The WW's are only about 3 weeks old...that JH's are about 6 weeks. Got nothing to smoke so sorta rushing this grow...i'll veg the clones (if they root) coming off these JH's alot longer. I topped at the 2nd node then the 4th and 5th..pretty happy with the uniform growth. Not looking to successful with the clones though...been a week with no signs of roots yet. Might try taking some more in a day or two before they flowers set in.

The girls have been in 12/12 for 9 days now and finally the pistels are starting to pop out. The WW's are alittle slower but that might have something to do with they're younger age. Looks like i got two indica dominate phenos as i'm not seeing alot of stretch in the JH's yet. Very pleased about this as i've only ever grown sativa dominate strains.

Ah yes, I remember now. Yes I would definitely like to top like this. I posted pics of my 4 new seedlings, 13 days old, I'll clean my scissors right now if you say go. Would appreciate your input.

Here's some fresh pic's. Jh's are looking like they'll be nice yielders. Had a blow out with one of the cooltubes, the ducting come off leading into the first cooltube so no air was passing through either tube. Temps went upto 36'C so the took a little hammering but they're tough....not so much the white widows.

I need to get in there and do abit more tying down to even out the canopy. Next grow i hope to fill the tent out with 8 plants all topped and tied down. Getting around inside and in between the grow champers can be a little tight with all the tubing and jute everywhere (being 6.2 foot tall doesnt help either) and thats with only 4 plants, so i better limber up.

17th Day of Flower

Jack Herer's are coming along very nicely...buds are forming faster than i've seen in any other strain and they're sucking up the nutes but the gallon. I'm constantly topping up the rez due to its smallish size with more ph'd water. I'll be switching to slightly stronger pk mix now and drop the grow nutes pretty much all together. Someone recently told me the growth regulator i'm using is toxic but after looking into it on the net i came across some datasheets that state this but also said if used on plants that flower for longer than 8 weeks, no toxic residue remains. What you guys think??? First time using such a product and i'm not sure if i'm seeing any real difference. The clones from these ladies wont be getting it so i can compare if it's worth it. it's pretty expensive stuff. Now for some pics...

JH"s

And the sad looking WW's...(if u cant handle the nutes then get outta the tub!)
Going to be running with just the JH's after this run. Though i'll hold onto 1 mother WW for future grows without the JH's.

no pic's of the WW's as i've lost interest in them. One is doing ok..I hope it makes something good to smoke early while i wait for the jack to finish. The second white widow is lagging WAY behind...barely showing any bud at all.

Got some photos without the lights on but it's quite dark in there so the camera has trouble focusing.

nice looking plants and i wish mine looked that nice right now..im currently flowering jack herer by greenhouse also, but i don't what is the matter with my plants. i've got mine in soil and i'm using a 400 watt hps along with a 200watt cfl for extra lighting. i'm 16 days into flowing and my plants are barely even crowing. i haven't been able to find a whole lot of grow journels on this strain so i'm not sure if its the genetics in the plant or something im doing wrong. i'm using fox farms nuts. along with a calm/mag additative. i have the plants in a mixture of potting soil, earthworm castings, bat guano, and perclorite. i've attached 2 pics of one of mine plants...this is my 9th grow and this is the first flowering problems i've been having minus having a hermi once. side note the white hairs have poped out after about 5 days of flowing and since then there has been little progress. any advice from growers on what i maybe doing wrong would help alot.

My best guess would be a light leak if they've popped they're pistels at 5 days and havent progressed. My JH's have rocketed since first showing they're pistels and havent stopped since. You plants look nice and healthy and very much the same strain as i'm growing. Jump inside the room tent with the lights off stay in there for 2 mins to let your eyes adjust. You'll the be able to see if any light is creeping in. It's the only reason i can think of off the top of my head, post a few more pics of the whole setup.

well it seems my plants are starting to progress once again (still slower than i was hoping for). they are starting to develop the little starter buds all over the plants. i really appreciate your advice with the light leaking in my box and i would have thought the exact same thing, but i have used this unit for 5 other grows with no problems so that wasn't the root of the problem. i have uploaded 3 images of my plants to show you the starter nugs and i have also uploaded a plant from my last grow (it's also my avatar). sorry the images are not very clear they are done with a cell phone. On a side note: after seeing how well and fast your grow is going i think i may go back to hydro my next grow, but mine isn't areo like yours.

what was the last strain you were growing? It could be just the genetics. I was growing two white widows from Seedsman along side these JH's from Greenhouse. One is budding like crazy...the other was a total no go. Buds were slow forming and didnt smell like gunja at all. I chopped her down, and left her sister to power on. But since all of your plants are showing the same dark green colour i highly doubt it's the genetics.
