Thinking of splitting the room from left to right. flowering in half closest to window (already have window box
built, just not up in picture). veg in half closest to camera. Have downstairs closet for mother.

Found what I think is a good deal on a 3 pack of 600w completes. (ballasts, hoods, timers, yo-yo hangers, hps and mh bulbs)
prob put 2 on flowering side, 1 on veg. Have 400w hps (old streetlight i used for my grows up til now) don't know what i'm gonna do with that.

Don't know about carbon filters, fans, ducting, or temp control. suggestions in these areas, or any other wanted :)

thanks everyone

Man you have what i wish i had. Your splitting idea sounds pretty good. Youll need to have an exhaust system to vent out the room and maybe a window air conditioner or a portable one (unless you have central air). I would put 2 or 3 fans in the flowering room and maybe 1 or 2 in veg. Carbon filters are really only for smell, so they arent necessary, but they might clean the air a little too. You should also look into getting a temp/humidity monitor so you know whats going on in there. Besides that i think youve got a pretty good plan. Hopes this helps :)

Have central air, but that 3rd floor still gets pretty hot. Gonna put window a/c in just for summers (will have to make a second window box around the unit).

for the exhaust obviously you duct the hoods together, but don't know what kind of fan to get, or where it goes in the line. will ultimately meet with the duckting from the bathroom fan, and out side of house since there is already a vent there.

also, where are good deals on milar? heard that's much better then just white walls.

I would look at amazon for both fans and mylar. Look up inline fans that will fit your light tube and maybe get 2 for each tube, or one big one that can handle both. (whatever your price range is) and make sure you also get standing fans or boxs fans to circulate the air and help make the stems stronger.
