12/12 Only: When do I take clone cuttings?

I'm growing 12 pure sativas (6 after I pull males/unhealthy females) in 12/12 only as recommended by the seed bank (or they'll get too big indoors). I've been told sex should start to show 3-4 weeks in 12/12 only. When should I take clone cuttings?

Take 12 cuttings one of each now before they flower, label them with the plant they came from then keep the best female.

the sex can show as early as 1.5 to 2 weeks

no later than 4 weeks flower, but if your doing 12-12 from seed i belive its wen u hit 6 true branches.

what do you mean by now? like how many weeks into the grow? I haven't began yet, I'm planting in July. In the preparation phase

The larger the cuttings are the better chance they will root. A large cutting will have a hole running through the cutting stem. That is my guide for being big enough, does it have a hole? BigSteve.

thanks for the tip, but what do you mean by a hole in the cutting stem exactly?

There's your problem right there. Preparation. Im new also but in my experiences in life you should always do ghing hands on and learn from your mistakes.

I'd rather ask when to properly take a cutting first then do a few nasty cuts. yes experience is the best teacher, but there's no reason to reinvent the wheel. if the information is available, why not seek it
