12/12 from seed... When to cut clones

I posted this on the "12/12-show off your girls" thread too

For those of you who do or have grown 12/12 from seed. When would you cut your clones from the mother?

Is it even possible under a 12/12 format to cut clones from these plants?

Lots of great info on this site... I just cant find out this specific answer

depends on the strain, an indica probably won't offer you the cuts without topping her. Best to take lower branches in this situation as they don't really interfere with the grow. take them any time. the longer you wait though the more chance you've got of having to re-veg the cuts.

What size container did you 12/12 in? If you did solo cups or the bottom of pop bottles like a lot of people do you won't get very good clone sights.

Regardless of container size you can cut clones whenever you see a suitable clone, or just reveg the best mom at the end of flowering.

I'm a bit confused here. What is your goal? What are you trying to accomplish? Why grow 12/12 from seed and then take clones? Are you trying to determine sex?

Im curious about growing 12 12 from seed as it seems like an easy way to have a perpetual harvest without having a massive operation

Grow seeds- Cut Clones- Root Clones- Return them to the grow room once rooted- All the while, the 1st gen seedlings are growing 1st crop-----

Then repeat this process with cutting clones from the clones so that someone would have a harvest every 4-6 weeks. With just a few plants, that would be enough for a personal medicinal grow. Yes?
