12/12 from seed question.

If starting from 12/12 does it need to be 2700k, 6500k, or both. Or does it even matter.

It doesnt matter.. People will say 6500K for the beginning, but you can use 2700K for the whole 2 weeks before sex shows and on into flowering..

Also, for the best plants, use mixed spectrum for the first two weeks of 12/12 from seed.. I've done both, I've done only 2700K, never done just 6500K, BUT i'm sure that only 6500K would be best for the short veg time.. I'm not gonna veg with the 2 6500K cfls I got only.. lol

im using 4 23 watt 2700k cfl's 4 veg and 4 flowering too results is good 43grams from 1 plant

Can you have 3500s mixed in?

Cause I have 4 - 2700, 2 -3500, and 1-6500 for flowering one plant. Is that ok?

right now i think im going to use 2 23w 2700k and 2 26w 6500k and later in might add either 68w 2700k or a couple i think it was 46w 2700k. and about what height do they reach going 12/12 from seed?

I think it depends on the pot size, I've done 12/12 in party cups and got a plant that was 10 inches tall, and 14 inches tall, then some others that were about 18.. but I used a one gallon pot and had one that was 28 inches tall..

and yeah, you would be good with those cfls..

I think I'm going to use a rubbermaid 18 gallon tote and lst them as much as i can.
