I'm stoked to see what you guys find Technically you would have to cross it with something before you named it. Naming it without crossing it is basically stealing someone else's work, slapping your name on it and calling it yours lol

Thats one part of the comp I'm really looking forward to! If everything goes well I've been working on some lines that I'll release exclusively to rollitup for testing

@kepster - What medium do you use? What nute lineup? Any tips for us as we get our soil and fertilizers together?

Hey J,
Whatever medium ya choose, make sure ya saturate it with battery acid and bleach!!
I've heard it makes beautiful, monsterous flowers!! Lol.
You'd be assured to win, I'm almost positive.
You don't say... I'v always used sodium chlorate to make "Super Soil" 1 cup per Cubic Foot of soil should really give your seedlings a boost! lol

***UPDATE***

In past competitions, Picture angle and light can give someone the appearance that their plant and flowers are larger than they actually are. This can put someone else with poor picture quality at a disadvantage. To help fight this I have decided to send everyone a small 1-inch bonsai garden prop to place in the plant that they choose as their final entry out of the original 4 cups they started with. Every weekly picture after "plant elimination" is required to show the entire cup and plant with the 1-inch bonsai prop placed in the cup. View attachment 4262148
Slight dilemma, Went to order more of these and they are out of stock. So I will be rocking the New Design of mini shroom that they now offer as seen below

Whew...that was a close one.

I’ll be running various soil compositions consisting of different amendments. Primarily organic, although might use some AN and botanicare lines I have laying around.
I am also organic. I have a very easy organic soil mix

I soaked 4 bricks of coco coir last night from Thunder Farms, They make the little bricks I like and it has very little salt content. That gives me 1 cubic foot of expanded coir. I then added 4 cups mineral kit mix from buildasoil containing basalt for trace minerals, gypsum dust for calcium and sulfur and langbeinite better known as Sul-Po-Mag for its sulfur, potassium and magnesium. I call this charging my coco so that is doesn't draw out the calcium when I water my plants throughout the grow. I let that all sit in a closed container for a week or more and then I add 1/2 Gallon of each of these - Worm Castings, Chicken Manure Pellets, Oly Mountain Fish Compost, Colorado Pinto Bean Compost, Prospectors Compost, and Malibu Compost. I also add 2 cups of the BuildASoil Craft Blend Containing - Thorvin Premium Kelp Meal, Karanja Cake - Terviva, Alfalfa Meal, CalPhos, Camelina Meal, Crustacean Meal, Fish Meal, 3x Fish Bone Meal, Soybean Meal, Sul-Po-Mag (Also Known as K-Mag or Langbeinite), Malted Barley Grains (3 Varieties), Azomite, Basalt - Local Colorado, Gypsum, Oyster Flour.

Mix this all together and let it sit for 30 - 45 days depending on temperature, moisture and such. also, you shouldn't let it freeze so keep it in your garage or someplace warm.

Easy as Pie!

Cool!
Anything additional for aeration?

Not for the solo cups, But for my normal plants yes. I mix in 2 Gal of rice hulls per cubic foot. I find that using a base of coir instead of peat moss tends to require less added aeration for the results I like.

I make this and cut it 50/50 with recycled soil from my worm bins and that has a lot of biochar in it also that helps for added aeration among other things
