to each their own, GS, i checked out your grow, i was blow by the trunk on the mother fucker! i bet you had a good yield off that bush. lol but for a PC grow box it was not bad at all. yeah it was in cup and could have been put in a deeper and a tad bigger pot but over all it was not a bad grow at all.

experimental man... if i were in a legal/medicinal state, i would do it big... real real big... just cant man... i havent checked out your grow just yet GS, but i am guessing you are in a medicinal state to grow outdoors... wish i were you... dont hate on the ones learning new shit... anyone just about can grow outdoors... its real tricky getting it done in less than one square foot... anyways preciate your comments GS.... and thanks for letting me know you care enough to comment... thanks to everyone else as well...

sorta on the slum side of things... times are tough... my job isnt paying the bills atm, and my grow time sorta gets put in limbo... i have met some really "green-thumbish" type of people since kicking it in my new spot... there is a huge movement down here... the thing is due to the illegality, all these green thumbs are "in the closet" about their activities...who knows man... life is just simply depressing sometimes.. my lui, gdp, and mendo purp all dies due to a a out of town trip... i haveno camera anymore... just my camera phone...lol... i have 6 arjan kush seeds that cracked the shell sunday morning, and has since shown itsfirst pair of true leaves... i have read that it will be warm this year... till about the end of november... so im gonna let muh babies go outside and see what a 32oz big gulp cup can produce... i may transplant the biggest 3 to 5 gallon pots once i can see which are growing faster than others... until then, just living life, staying high, and praying forthat day the boot gets its medicine... and man, how are you doing?

yes... so terribly small that i got lit all day for free off some of the dankest sativa i have ever smoked...first grow too... so i mean how much worse could it have been right?

Just read your whole thread, and although it's almost a year after the fact, I wanted to say congrats on your first grow. It may have only been a couple of grams, but that bud looked awesome!

Very educational thread. I'm doing my first grow right now using 2 t5s and 4 cfl on two plants (one sativa, one indica). I'm almost 2 weeks into flowering, and shit is getting exciting... Not a micro-grow like yours, but also going relatively small-scale, hoping to get half to one ounce.

hey micro i read like most of this thread and then just was looking for pictures but grats on your first grow.
can you help me out? im going to do a small indoor i need to know what are the like essentials like im growing outdoor atm

essentials are simple... food (not neccesarily "plant food", proper ventilation... you HAVE to have an intake exhaust and an out take... your setup will be screwed without this... must have cfls or hid... some flouros work ( like a T5)... container size should be at least 8 ounces (very very minimum)... miracle grow soil works fine if you wait for your plants to tell you when they start to need food... any water works just about... not all water works... use to yourbest discression... if you wouldnt drink it, then your plants prolly wont... put water in a clean milk jug and let sit for 24 hours in room temperature and you can use it... these are prolly the cheapest ways to do shit and by no mean to produce the biggest buds... but if you can grow a decent plant with hardly nothing, i be you ( or i ) could grow monsters with the best shit... so i guess it really wasnt a simple answer, but its the easiest answer... hope this helped...

So ventilation is the one aspect of my grow that I'm unable to do properly because I can't make any holes in the walls or closet door. In other words, I have no intake or out take...

What do you think will be the biggest problem? My 2 plants are 3rd week of flowering, I only have one oscillating fan inside the closet, and I open the closet door usually 2 or 3 times a day to air it out. Other than the smell, do you think the plants will suffer a lot without proper ventilation?

yeah man... you shold be good... just watch the temps.. i was more so referring to actual grow boxes... more so micro... but just about any box will need ventialtion... unless your box is the size of a closet or a room... lol... the biggest thing, like i had mentioned, is to keep your temps right... if you can nail that without intake and exhaust, you'll be fine...

Makes sense. I think my temps aren't too bad, with basically 150 real watts of cfl in a fairly large closet, it doesn't get too hot. I guess the fluctuation between day and night is on the large side, but probably not too awful.
