... should i be giving them nutes. last time i gave them nutes the got nute lock tips are hanging down they were green now there turning yellow should i be worrying about i.. or continue my feeding schedule.????????

I had the same problem happen to mine and they still seem totally fine. I did cut back on the feeding for like 2 weeks, but that was durring veg. I just started flowering about 2 weeks ago. Everything looks like its going great for you. I would just keep up whatever your doing now. +rep

well does anyone know if i feed them if they will get nute lock again????? or get nute burn the tips were green and hanging now there yellow and dry?? only on some

those plants look great. i feed mine a shot of tigerbloom every week as per the bottles directions (1tsp. per gallon of water). Also I add a half tsp of beastie bloomz, halfr tsp of growbig, and a tbls of bigbloom.. as per the feeding chart, every other watering. my plants look alot like yours in this stage of flowering, the nutes havent hurt at all. i cant wait to start using the cha-ching.. its the final phase!

I believe the bottle says 2 tspn per gallon, I am also using Tiger Bloom, all by itself, I may grab some cha ching in the next week or two, I am at 26 days of flowering, but these pics were taken at 23 days. I will update pics in another post at week4 28 days, I'm guessing I have 5 or 6 weeks to go. I did some hard core lst'ing to put about 9 budsites within an inch in height to each other.

Great grow by the way looking real nice. The hardest part now is letting them grow

today is 3rd week flowering

yea im feeding them once a week with 1 1/2 teaspoons seems to be working .. some of the leaves got a little nute burn but there recovering fine.. i plan on geetting beastie blooms and cha ching some times this week

First, Id like to say that you plants look fantastic. Ive been reading the thread and noticed flushing was mentioned. I also read that you have not flush the plants as of yet. is that still the case? do you get a bit of run off when you water? just thinking maybe there is a bit of build up in the medium and a flush or some good run off when you water may help the curling leaves and nute burn symptoms.

either way your plants look awesome, ive been watching this thread for a while and absolutly love the lush green plants!!

I think your plants look great. I use a 1" x 1" plastic fence for my screen and it makes it easier for the plants to poke up through. Keep doing what your doing.

they got bad nute lock and a little bit of nute burn the leaves are starting to turn yellow in some places..
i think im gonna have to flush i have some questions there are four pots 2 different sizes 2- 2 gallons and 2- 3 gallons how much would water do i flush them with... second question they have little water catcher things lol that clip on the bottom of the pots do these need ot be taken off all the way or can they stay on????..

anything else i might need some help with would be much i apreciated

All of your new growth looks good the damage looks to just be the aftermath of the nute burn earlier on. As for flushing I never flushed my soil plants by doing any more than giving PHd straight water on a regular schedule, not by flooding water through them. If you REALLY want to break down a buildup I would suggest a good soaking rather than running water through them.

Agreed. You're growing in soil, right? The saying, "feed the soil, not the plant" is one to keep in mind. If you were seeing some nute burn, it's and indication the soil has a high concentration of nutrients (obviously). Using stuff like Big Bloom and Cha Ching it isn't hard to overfeed. As long as your pH is acceptable in both the water you are using and the soil, having a nutrient concentration that's a little too high in soil is fine, you just use plain pH'd water and skip a week or two of feeding. You WILL NOT lose any growth by not giving nutes for two or three weeks in good soil, but you WILL lose growth if you create a toxic evironment for you roots. Think of it as diluting the nutrient levels in the soil to what's acceptable by the plant. The nute burn tells you it's a little too rich, so you will help out by smoothing it out. On the other hand, if you go and flush the soil by running a bunch of water through it, you are not only flushing money down the drain (literally) but you are washing away much of the microorganisms (the beasties in your soil that really feed the roots). You have really been growing these little guys, and you will lose growth time by murdering their asses! Don't do anything drastic, espescially at this point, your plants look SO GOOD the only way they are going to get screwed up is if you freak out and keep making a bunch of sudden changes! Cheers!

right on man i didnt really want to flush them thanks soooo much both you and 420 guy.. good information!!! i think ill just stick too water for a couple weeks i just dont like the yellow tint to my plants they were looking soo green lol....but thanks for the information hopefully i can get them back together like you said the new growth is looking fine..

im having some problems i think i have a bit of nute lock and nute burn i dont want to flush any other good ideas how long will it take to recover. i stop giving nutes strictly water where should my PH be at

they take about a week to improve,i had the same problem,my ph was off it should be around 6.2,thats what i like any way,but i flushed mine with a mild solution,because i wasnt really sure what was being locked out,but others say a flush is not needed,they may well be right im sure they both work.i probably have done it both ways before,but i remember the one with 1/4 strength nute flush.
