i am wanting to make an amended flowering soil. i grow 12/12 from seed. use seed starter with no nutes for sprouts and add a little of general organic biothrive and than i would transplant in to the flowering soil. the ingredients are compost potting soil, EWC, bone meal 6-9-0, peruvian bat guano .5-12-.2, epsom sat, dolomite lime, and azomite. i dont know the exact amount yet. i will most likely base it off of subcools supersoil but not totally. not so familiar with organics but to my knowledge i cannot burn plants with organic or it is pretty hard too. if that is true can there be too much nutrients in organic soil? i would hate to have to little nutrients if to much isnt nessesarily bad

yes you can easily burn plants with organic, you gotta follow some guideline, thats why most people start with Subs recipe, its failure proof. I cannot really help you on your question though lots of people here can, so BUMP

as long as your potting soil drains well, i would add 15-25% castings. for the dry amendments, i use 1 cup of bonemeal per cubic foot of soil so if it were me, i would start with 1/2 cup bonemeal, 1/2 cup guano per cubic foot. i never use epsom salts in my soil mix so i cant give you advice on that but for the lime, 1 cup per cubicfoot. i do use azomite and the directions call for 1 tbsp per gallon so i use 1/2 cup azomite per cubic foot.

alright guys thanks! i will keep it on the lighter side so i do not burn my plants. and my recipe is pretty close to what you are saying joe. it is on the lighter side of everything but as a first time it would suck to over do the soil.
