11days autos not ''leafing''

I germ'd a big bang auto, planted on the 8th of march
the stem has sprouted but the seed shell is still on,
she doesn't want to sprout leaf's after 11days in soil(canna terra pro)

I don't need indoor growers giving me sh!t right now but im growing outside in ireland, the weather is kinda shit average of about 10-12degrees with cloudy daylight, im at 51 Lat, this is literally my first grow and was intended as a trial and error before the real summer months kick in,
seen as how they're auto's i expected them to grow fairly easily but stunted, maybe its the cold? i do my best i bring her in at night, keep her warm then back out in the morning or on window sill until midday, i would say 12-14hrs of light albeit not the best light:roll:.. i really cant use lights to veg em'

Im tempted to use some root juice or add a light N fert to the water but they are so young and it might damage them, i will try get a pic up in a few, any advice?DSC02336.jpgDSC02335.jpg

10c is 50f according to some online calculator, It seems like she's afraid to put her leafs out in the colder weather but like GreenHouseSeeds say it will flower under any light cycle as long as temp stays above 10c/50f, but i guess its different for the early stages.. when i bring it in at night i leave it by an extinguishing fire, not too close, but it def gets the heat there.. It probably is that i started it abit too early :/
 
My advice would be to bring them inside find a corner, cupboard or something buy a couple of 40w 6500 CFL and some cheap lamps for less then 5 pounds and throw them under that in a warmer place. I doubt they will live much longer in 10c weather, they should be in 20-25c to be healthy for germinating - good luck zeds!

P.S do not use any nutes that will be the quickest way to kill them right now....

im going to half bump this again because i have this 1 23w 2700k cfl, just one :eyesmoke:
would that be any good to help it along or not strong enough?
ive been rescearhing it like crazy most people say you need 100w min. with 6500k for veg so im guessing not, but i only have this one plant, its just sad to see it struggle like this

+rep for advice on the bear minimum setup to bring one plant from seed to harvest, even a link.. remember its an auto
 
bring it in at night stick it under your light then in the morning bring it back out and stick a big clear bottle over it put a few air holes in it and make sure soil doesnt dry out.
or go buy out door grow tent for small plants 10 20 euro at a diy store,

nice man yeah i just watched a video where someone had used the bottle technique like a lil greenhouse
 
yea one 23 watt cfl 2700k isnt very good but if you do decide to put it by a window no one will be able to tell for at least a week
 
lol there tiny!!so where in your garden are you Gonna keep it do u have any cover for it when it gets big? Irish summer pissing rain all the time is not good for the plant, so where you live do you need to worry about neighbours ect? IF you have privacy, when/if the plant takes of put 4 polls in the ground and rap it with cling film but make sure its strong and make a lid for it that u can put on when heavy rain it will make huge difference the plant will love it, act now tho as they are tiny i planted some Friday and they same size as yours

Not really man, the Irish summer isn't a bad as people say, its just like the UK it hardly rains at all in the summer, some days there isn't even wind lol..

I have a south facing garden, sunny all day, neighbors built an extension on their kitchen last summer so they cant see shit :)

living with the parents at the mo, they say 4 plants is ok, only problem would be visitors who cant keep their mouth shut, but im just gonna be on guard for that when it happens..

I know they're small, it sux man, it can only be the cold i think, i know in the UK yer getting pretty good weather for this time of year but here its still a bit cloudy like, when them clouds go its gonna be harvest time for 'ol Zed:mrgreen:
 
lad id say do some research into cfls or a small HPS, veg for a few weeks inside untill it warms up, hopefully by april ill be planting my autos outside in ireland
