So as it says the room i was going to do were 4 10x10s. Now im realizing i can do twin bigger rooms. 10x18 is fair to say they are built to be... object was to have 2 rooms doing last 4 weeks of flower an 2 rooms first 2 weeks of flower so i can be on a cycle. Now however, i am just going to put 24 plants in each room to have a total of 2 rooms, just bigger...one room harvest one month with 24 plants and next month the next one harvests. Veg time would be 1 month to keep my cycle on time.

Anyways on to my questions needing help.
Rooms this size need a gas co2 machine and a sniffer, any recommendations?
Next is how many lights? Thinking 10, 1kws in each room?
Horizontal and cooltubed with normal window acs (2 per room)? OR
Adjustawings or verticle hung and mini-split ac?(any recommendation for size minisplit?)

Should i use mini-split either way? Or will my co2 go right out the window ac?

Plants will veg in other rooms with t5 lights (2 veg rooms total) and when they go into flowering i will grow them in a SCROG. Also, grown in ebb n flow system so i can lift pot and move whole thing into flower room from veg nice an easy. 5gallon pots

I really think that 4 weeks of veg in that big of a room wont be big enough to cover enough space to get the highest potential results when it comes to yield . . . . . Im running 6,000 watts in a 18x10 roughly with 24 plants and I know for sure that 4 weeks of veg is not enough time for them to bush out to fill up the room, 10 lights for 24 plants seems like overkill if the plants aren't big enough, if i were you i'd veg for like 8 weeks topping and super cropping the hell of em . . . . . right now i believe my plants are almost at 4 weeks veg and they fit in a 9.5 ft by like 5 area (the rooms 9.5 x 9 but they are only taking up about 5ft in width.) . . . . . as far as mini split im going to be purchasing one and from what i've heard rule of thumb is 4-5000 btu's per 1000 watt i think its bare bulb but im pretty sure if your air cooling yours hoods it'll require less btu's per 1000.

Get some tanks in there. 20 lbs aluminums so they aren't heavy to move around. You can get them on ebay much cheaper than at a shop. I would do 8 lights in a 10x18. As for cooling I would use insulated ducting and get a mini split in there. It would save you money in the long run then having two window units running. Deffinately get a 24000 btu unit in there. Make sure to have fans in the rooms and a dehumidifier as to not make it it a suitable environment for powdery mildew. It's a bitch to completely sanitize a room that' has microscopics pores still hanging around. Prevention is key.

oh yeah dont forget about cooling the room down also when calculating btu's for instance 4000 btu per 1000 watt for my room (6 lights) would be 24,000 but you also have to take into account the room, which depending on the size could vary, I still haven't figure out how many btu's would cover what size room but im sure 12,000 btu would be sufficient, since i plan on purchasing a 36,000 btu mini split.

4-1000s for best production.....room size 10 ft x 10 ft - 10 ft x 12 ft.... 1 -1000 per every 5 x5 ft...10 x 18 gets 6 lights

You can have the best setup in the world .....but if you dont have the killer cut or knowledge of how the cut best produces...:)

I dont run no co2... my plants veg/flower sunshine mix....finishing in 1.5 gallon containers...25-30 at a time average 4-5 oz per:leaf:

Yeah im thinking of the veg for longer but was going to see how big they get in months time... i will learn the strand better as i grow it. 24k btu will be enough? How much of a yeild would you get on yours with just a 4 week veg? 6.5 - 8 oz each would be enough for me. Id love more of course but 6 a plant may sounds easier then actually getting it.

Colo- 4-5oz each? Thats nuts. Im about to cut my scrog down in soil and hoping hoping for 3oz each. Theyre not big but the scrog seemed to do its job. Strand im using is pineapple express.

It doesn't matter how many oz you get per plants its about how many oz you get per light. people can grow 8 plants under a thousand and get a lb others grow one plant under a thousand and get a pound, GPW is the best way to compare yield.

Nice! Ill take some pointers whenever your ready to list em lol. Pineapple express is suposed to be hood yeilder so 6 or more shouldnt be hard task with the hydro setup and 8 1kw lights over them and proper temps... co2 will be added when i can get temp control situated. Deffinetly going with mini split its just matter of if i can swing it the first crop considering i only have 12 in veg for now. So ill throw 4 lights up for these 12 with normal ac and then use money to setup the complete room twice with co2.

Those look like 5gal pots!
Heres a closer shot of the potter

no they are not 5 gallon.... go to homedepot.... garden section...... grab a 10 inch tapered plastic tearra potter......they have 3 colors brown, gray, white

look at the sticker on the bottom 6.5 quart...they sell 12 inch potters too those are 9 quart or 2.25 gallons

I go from cup to a 8 inch potter to 10 inch.... to flower in a 7-8 week period with some strains.....other strains stay in the 8 inch for flower and I average 3 ozers

Ok, had to revive my thread just before i spend all my money! So for now i am setting up one 10x18 flower room and 1 6x6 tent for veg for one harvest then i will make an exact copy of my flower room and veg to use my legal limit for 2 cards. After first go around i will add mini split ac to each room and co2 generators with sniffers. But for now lmk what you think!

So - 10x18 room
8 1kw cooled lights (outside air vented back outside)
2 inline fans with ducting (1 per 4 lights)
2, 12 site ebb n flow 5gallon systems ( both res outside room)
2 blue lab meters (one for each res)
2 big wall fans (circulate air)
Poly all walls
2 window ac units (temp for one harvest then 24k mini split and co2)
1 dehumidifier

Veg- 6x6 tent (in diff room)
2 4ft 8bulb t5 lights
1, 12 site ebb n flow 5gallon (res outside tent)
1 blue lab meter
2 clip fans (circulate air)
1 20lb co2 bottle (on timer set accordingly for 6x6)

Hoping adding co2 during veg will help growth cause really wanna keep to 4 week veg time. I know someone said 10x18 for 24 plants in only 4 wk veg time was too much space but the room is already that size an after couple harvests i may do longer veg times... already bought nutrients for 4 harvest worth! Lucus formula with some cal-mag and roots excell.
