10x15 grow room

I would sooner make a false wall hang 3-4 window shakers. And use two fans to vent the heat out of the other side of the ACs. There are lots of different ways to do things. But venting a 6 light DE setup is doable if it's cold where you live, but then just forget about controlling humidity really.
Can we speak more about this, I thought about having a mini split from grow room to another room then exhausting this room

Also on the note of stealth. Weed is totaly legal here. I have 2 X 12" fans with carbon filters ans 8" fan with carbon at the ready for any smells. But I don't even use them because my room is sealed. You are gonna. Probably wind up running like 4X 12" fans to cool the room. It's gonna be tough to keep the stench a secret lol. Especially if the neighborhood isn't used to smelling that dank.

Because it’s illegal here anyone serious is obviously using o3.
Last time we used the attic as a lung for the exhaust and ran an 8” fan through a uvonair ozone genny hung in said attic

This is what I would do because they mini splits are most efficient. Pick a decent size room for the outdoor unit. With a couple 12" fans for redundancy (in case one fails) . Also where ever you put the mini split consider that you will have get rid of the condensate water (you can use it to water your plants, or send it to a drain) but just know you have to deal with it.

Window mount AC unit. I was saying to use those as you can easily carry it into the house without suspicion just a box.

also since it's cold where you live. Just vent the heat to somewhere in your house you want to warm up.
Yeah we can’t have any externally visible mods. It has to look like a normal house within a housing estate from the outside, no one will be living there.

yeah we used to run our ac hoods to the kitchen floor back in the day hahaha

How are you gonna use Ozone when you are venting your room at a rapid rate? You are going to be pushing at least 6000-8000CFM trying to cool the place. The ozone generator won't do much with that kind of air movement will it?

Ya that's why I was saying make a fake wall in the grow and vent that back side of the ACs out. But the room be sealed.

By venting into a much higher volume space

it’s what’s worked for me long term, not saying it’s perfect but it works, obviously this is bigger than my 4800w run and Infact the attic is smaller so maybe I need to chat about this abit more with my peers on here

An obvious fix would be to run an 03gen with each exhaust set up

that gets very expensive though

ya but now you want to vent to a high volume space. Then you gotta vent that space as you can't just keep infinitely dumping BtUS in the place. Not to mention those fans are gonna run another 800-1000W (3000ish BtU) in the room.

just gonna cost a shit ton in fans. Lots of grows in northern Ontario just run huge fans and vent. And run heaters at night. But they also get crazy PM problems if you don't use a lung room. And then whats the point in spending a shit ton on a lung room when you could just make a sneaky AC setup not vent, not spend money on ozone, maybe one recirculating 12" carbon filter. Or one small ozone machine but those things still cost a bit to buy and to run.

another thing is if it's cold outside maybe you could have a resevoir outside (like a rain barrel) and have it recirculate water inside to your grow resevoir. You could basically exchange some heat like this if it's that cool outside most of the time.

Yeah ur right I need to take this into consideration, all I can really do from an experience point is take what’s worked and scale it up.

im glad you’ve commented cos you’ve given me alot to think about.

You know when I was building my room I was asking a lot of questions on here too. And I changed my mind a lot on what I was going to do. But I am really happy with where I ended based on the culmination of other members opinions and my own experience and of course some math/science to make sure everything checks out.

sometimes the cheapest thing to do spend a little money (like on an AC) and not have to do all the crazy work around to make a cheaper alternative work. Growing a huge amount of weed is already hard work without have to check that all parts of a crazy complicated fan system are working. And trust me I know what that feels like as I was running a vented setup on two 4x8 tents using outdoor air and it was a night mare with outdoor temperature and humidity swings (welcome to Ontario).

Are you going to use a light controller? Woth that many lights it starts to be cheaper than a multiple timers and sensors. A trolmaster setup can control lights and fans and ventilation to keep temperatures in line. I was pricing out a setup using different cheaper inkbird and sonoff controllers. But when you actually work it out the Trolmaster gear Barry cost more and you don't ah s to mix and match anything and you can control all the parameters of your room from your phone. Not to mention the data logging letting you view your humidty and temperature spikes and problems. It can dim your lights for you if temps are getting out of hand.

I’m gonna use a heavy duty contactor board similar to this (only pic I cud find) C37D080F-11C8-4FE4-9337-B5F8970ADB3B.png

I’ve used a custom unit Pretty much the same as this before and it works fine, however I would like to have 1 dimmer for all lights that could be wall mounted.

for the venthilation lately I’ve been using ac infinity cos I really really like the interface

for humidity I use the g.a.s vpd controller, during mid to late flower the dehumy runs constant and then humidifier comes on and off to keep everything stable, I don’t like switching dehumidifiers on and off lol

Not that I don’t believe you but can you point me in the direction of some example of someone using a split like u describe? With the external unit in an adjacent room?
my thinking is that I’ll still need the same amount of fans to remove that many btu from the adjacent room. I do know we can get rid of some in the condensate but I didn’t think this wud be a large amount

Never used ac so I might be wrong, please by all means, school me haha
