OK hi everybody thanks for stopping by, here are my grapefruits at the middle of week three of flower. Any suggestions? Look good? Any tips with led? Or anyone grown grapefruit before. Also I'm quite impressed with the marshydro lights waaaay better than the copycats of eBay also love the led t8 tubes on the 4 corners of the tent

@D port Growth, you need to move your lights apart ASAP!!! LED lights pull cool air in through the top vents and blow out the heated air through its side vents. You have all three of your lights blowing hot air into each other, meaning they never cool off, which will result in your LED's dying a quick death. Spread them out more, so they are at least a good six inches apart from one another. Good luck.

Is that the actual output on those lights? I could be wrong, but I thought the mars panels run lower than their name

just buy a good ole hps 1000 with a hortilux and be done with it.

thanks i will space them out so i don't burn them up

the middle is a 400 w pulling 199-202w off the wall and the small ones are 300w pulling about 189-192w so total power off the wall around 600w but the bulbs equal 1000

Is that grapefruit by female seeds company?

I bought them as clones from a newer dispensary in town, not sure on specific genetics. It just said grapefruit on the plug could be just plain ole Grapefruit, Sweet Deep Grapefruit or Grapefruit Kush. The Smell Profile is Sweet and Pungent lemon mixed with a very clean pine needle after tone. I just call them Grapefruits, they look mostly sativa if that helps.

Definitely look sativa-ish. I've heard good things about grapefruit from female seeds.

The Mars 300 run at 174 true watts(tested on a Kill-A-Watt meter) I have 2 of them. I also have two Mars II 1600's, a 900 and a 1200.

I like the avatar. Don't know if you play Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior series games, but the slime you have is a reoccurring character in the series. My favorite is Dragon Quest 8 for ps2. Classic.

Hey Styles have you run any of those mars lights before or is it your first run with all of them? Do you get a good gram per watt? How do you compare their heat to HP's? I heard they run just as hot...

When I was younger I'd play Dragon Warrior Monsters via Gameboy. It was undoubtedly one of my favorite games during childhood, as the breeding system of random monsters kept the game fresh.

This will be my first time flowering with them but I had my first Mars II(900w) in 11-13-2013 but I just vegged with it. I was about to flower but March 4th 2014 I was rear ended and was in the hospital for a month. Broken neck, broken jaw, missing teeth and had a tracheotomy. But I'm all healed up only thing is I still need my teeth fixed that's gonna happen this year. Getting implants lol. I like them better than HPS because of the heat difference. They get warm but not hot

Looks like your have a good grow D port. Im thinking off doing the same but with 2 marshydro 450 in 2by 5ft 5ft high space woukd be well too hot with a hps and no room for a cardbon filtre and all the ducting for a aircooled light soo im gona give the leds ago figured two of the 450 is the same real wall wattage as a 400hps anyway soo id b happy with that and only need carbo filtre for smell lol

You will love them best lights at this price range. And the trichrome production is off the chain In leds I've noticed a massive difference between hps

Update plants are back at at my place now. And are looking happy this is start of week 5 in flower and they all stacked up nice, now it's time to swell these buds. I added a panoramic top shot to see all the lighting as well.

They look nice D port theyl faten up nice.
