HLG 550, two months of veg In a 4x4. Flowered in a 200lb no till pot (Worms in the soil, regenerative no fertalizer)
On average how many plants would it take to produce one lb of dried bud?
Here is a non sarcastic reply. There are too many variables to answer that question. Here is a tip, a decent grower should be able to average at least 1 gram per watt with a dialed environment and a proper canopy. Do the math.

I average 12oz from 2 plants in 5 gallon pots. I’m only in a 3x3 tent and mainly grow for my wife, so I’m not exactly shooting for excessive weight. Sure I could pull a lb from 2 plants, I just don’t have the luxury of vegging for a long period of time to pull it off.

Take some pics bro. I'll give you a hand!

Indeed simple math, but one false move in the growing environment will toss those numbers right out the window.
Lol, I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. That's not a real equation and there is no math or numbers that will answer this question. Unless you're being sarcastic...and in that case I'm being sarcastic too

I was. Just trying to add on to his sarcasm. Glad someone caught that.
