In regards to the police, should I be worried about using a 1000w in my 4x4x7 grow space?

I was thinking. I have 2 computers, one has a 620 watt and the other 1000. If I added another pc with a 1000w, It wouldnt be a big deal.

If you live in a 1 room apt. the spike would be maybe a little more than just extra electrical appliances...in a normal sized place thats the same as a few 150w bulbs.
If your worried, offset the extra watts by replacing some of your regular lights with cfls...they use 1/4 the watts.....

I use a straight 1000w with no probs so far.

A space like that would do a lot better with a 600 or even a 400. You could even get them closer.

I calle dmy power company and they sent me a copy of there privacy policy, Mine will NEVER give out my info including usage to anyone without a warrent and they claim to have NEVER contacted law enforcement about anyone. They will cooperate with the cops if they get a warrent but by then your probably fucked anyway. 1000 watts really isn't that much to bother worrying about it anyway. My microwave draws 1300.

See, i am thinking that there has to be way more important stuff going on than my little growMurders, and kidnappings and such, so it would be more expensive to actually investigate, arrest, and then convict me than it is worth. I hope so anyways.

Yea but your microwave isnt running 12/12 or 18/6.... either way running a 1k is nothing...
