1000w Hypothetical...

I know how ppl hate these questions so that's why I'm asking.
I bought a 1000w hps plan on using it soon. got a lil work to do still...
Any way I was wondering if it were possible to get a Lb. from 6 plants, in soil, in 3 gal buckets?
I grew 2 plants under T8 flourecents and cfls and got 3.37 oz dry.
If I could pull 3oz per plant then yeah me I meet my mark and then some. I figure if I'm pulling 1.5+ per plant with cfls I should get to 3 per plant with a 1000 watter...
what do you all think???

Yes. Very possible. You would need to top them and veg them for a while. You need 4-6 plants with tight internode spacing.

this depends on what your growing most kush no way, indica that's the one to grow.

The plant above took about 1 square foot of space under 1Ks. An example of what can be done with a SOG-like approach, the right genetics, and purposeful training/pruning.

As you plan of about 6 plants, below is the same plant as above next to its clone (due to be harvested in ~3 weeks), which is a bit bigger and obviously takes a little more floorspace to support. FWIW, the plant from seed was vegged for ~5 weeks from sprouting, and the clone ~6 weeks (from rooting) starting with a ~3" cutting:

indeed it will work, as others have stated, veg 3-4 weeks at least (after clone size) and strain will make or break you. My master kush puts out an oz, and my jack frost doubles it at least, my blue dream triples it, all in the same period of time and that's @ 1-2 week veg aim for an even canopy at the beginning
