Hi guys.

Currently running two 1.5 x 1.5 meter and 6ft tall tents. Am running 400 watt hps in one and MH in the other.

I'm looking at buying a 1000 watt for my flower tent.

My question is what Temps will I be seeing if I run the 1000 in a cool tube with a 8inch inline fan exhuasting to the outside of my tent from my cool tube ?

I'm running deep water culture so I have to keep my water Temps down as much as possible.

Cheers

Depends allot on where you live. Dwc temps are easy to control if you have a res and know abiut the ice bottle shuffle

I run a 1000 watt man they get hot I would spend an extra 50 bucks and get a dimmable ballast in case you can't control the heat you can knock it down a little

Too many better options for lighting, consider 315W CMH lights instead; two of these are better than an HPS thouie any day. Much less heat, much better frost.

4x8x8 tent 2 600w hps... Inline exhaust with filter, digital ballasts, never over 75-77° and 50-58% RH. Never any problems.

Try a 315W CMH light or two. I promise you'll like the results!
I've seen them online and have read few reviews from guys getting good results.

But in the country I live in they don't sell them in our limited hydroponic shops. Where a bit behind in technology as far as grow lights go. And it would be very expensive to have them shipped here.

Was thinking going a digital 1000 watter I can dim down if Temps get too crazy. Am hoping to get a solid pound every yield. From 4 plants in dwc. I'm hitting 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound at the moment with 2 400s. I did think about two 600s but I'm guessing heat will be maybe more and same as power draw than one 1000
