I wish i would just buy a grow tent and set it up in my spare room for my flowering plants!

Maybe when i want to expand ill just buy a tent and another 1000watt and move this inside my house and i can just use the tent in my grow area when i move!!

those ladies are looking great! And if I were you I would get a tent off e-bay or some shit. They are cheap on there and it is always good to have a tent around. You can use if for flower now but later you may want it for a mother room or a veg room or a clean room for your new clones. So many possibilities for a tent. Or if you get a good couple of strains it could be your breeding room that you can keep away from your flowering room so you don't get any pollen in your flower room.

I think you have a good handle on that whole LST thing! ;)

Ya LST is nice but seems to be a lot of work compared to people just growing vertical and topping once!

But i think im going to test out my next grow to just top once and let them grow i have the space i could grow trees if i wanted to.

Just seemed like LST to have more of a yeild but i guess if the same plant has the same amount of veg time than it should be about the same yeild.

But there are to many things that could change it so im just going to try it out and compare the results!!

Ya and the tent think will be a good investment for sure but i wont be able to section the lights off and create two rooms. and in the future it wont blend with my grow room and will stick out like a sore thumb if a family member that i dont want to know will ask what it is.

So my story....Im building my house this coming year on a piece of land i was gifted to me.

Im a firefighter, and the agency i work for does pay the highest so im going to be buying a double wide thats new and me and my girl will be saving up over the years to build our dream home!!

Well with that being said THE GROW ROOM!!!! That is why im posting this i need some suggestions on ventilation.

So this is the layout of my house that im going to build, im going to be taking out extra to build the shed, garage, fence, and decks!!
Paint- House project 1.jpg

Here is the layout of the Grow shed, im having a problem figuring out my ventilation.
Shed Plan - Draft #1.jpg

So as you can see i have 2 flowering rooms with 1000watt hps in each room. I plant to have 1 8in. inline fan sucking out the hot air out of the light hoods with filters on each light hood but what im trying to figure out the intake. ill show u what i got so far!
flowering room.jpg

but since im sucking so much air out of my shed will a wall a/c or passive air threw it be enough to fill the shed with out causing to much negative pressure!!

I dont know any tip hints tricks or things your would do would be apprecated!!

That grow room is so beautiful, I think I'm going to cry (sniffle, sniffle) lol. Not sure how you should vent it, but it looks bad ass!

Thanks dude i think i will have a ceiling in there at the 7' in height and in the corner of the room probly above the table ill have a vent to the attic which has a vent to the outside.

So i wont have to much negative pressure that my exhaust fans dont work, lol.

Ya i cant wait to build it, its a for sure thing and will be build by mid next year! Just in the planning phase!

I was looking at your setup and it looks like you are going to run two carbon filters. The tricky part is getting the fan to pull evenly over each light. I may be wrong but if you have a carbon filter on your first light closeest to your fan I think the fan will pull most of the air through that filter and cool your first light but not do as well on your second light. Like I said I may be wrong but that is a problem that i see. You may just have to go with two fans. You can keep your one exsaust at the end just get a ducting splitter and vent them both like that. The other bennifit to that is that if you do have a fan failure only one of your rooms will get too hot. They also sell things that will shut off the power to your light if the room gets too hot. Just some ideas brotha.

Sounds like you have a nice grow shed in the coming works. What program did use to design your layout?

I applaud you for being a firefighter, stay safe!!

Thanks howard that was soemthign on my mind that i wouldnt be able to figure out until i hooked it all up, i will keep this is my thoughts and maybe install a 2nd 8in inline fan mounted to the wall between the two flowering rooms!

Oh well i used a program called Smartdraw suite edition, than i copy and pasted and put on paint so that it was in the right format to upload on here.

I downloaded the program off of piratebay.org and once i installed it in the folder i downloaded had a CD-Key Generator that gave me a free key to enter in.

Its awesome how nerds make things to easy for guys like me!!

Hey there HP - just read through this entire journal and I'm now up to speed on your grow! I'm so jealous of your new house and custom setup - you can already tell it's going to be awesome!

I have to commend you on a stellar job with the LST on your plants. Even though you have plenty of head-room for taller plants, I think you'll really appreciate having them smaller by the time harvest rolls around - looks like you're going to end up with a good number of tops there! I'm sub'd, and +rep for your great progress thus far - can't wait to see your results!!
