I am thinking of maybe venting my 1000 watt straight into my ceiling heat duct for my house. Anyone forsee any problems with this as long as the air is carbon filtered first? IT would sure cut down my heat bill!

right right, maybe not comlpletely but technically any residual heat that went into the house would cut down on energy costs
I have been thinking about doing the same thing only into the heat vent on the floor of the room. Only problem is what happens when the heater kicks in? Its going to restrict the flow of air going out or even blow back the air.

I thought about going under the house and cutting the ducting that comes from the furnace to that room and just having it vent under the house...still trying to decide what to do bongsmilie

i would block that heat vent u dont want that pumping hot air into your grow.. vent out through a wall or window ceiling thats what i suggest

Right now i have the heat from my lights going out the window. Would be great though if i could figure a way to use that heat. Granted the heat from the lights is not much and would probably be room temp by the time it reaches another room but the concept of saving money from the growroom is cool :D

I have a 6" inline cooltube and the inline vortex fan sucks from holes in the floor that lead into the cold air return, It blows through cooltube then into the heater output vent in the hole. 1200sf house and overnight the furnace wont kick in and it will be 20 deg celcius in the morning when it is hovering around 0 deg. outside. i think it wont push as much air through everything when the furnace is on but i dont think its a big deal because it is still moving air through. maybe ill test and see

I vented my 2 1000wt Hortilux EYE SuperHPS bulbs directly into my house. Room was downstairs in basement and the extra heat did help in the long cold winter months. No way I was venting that heat outside! 2 things you need to watch for though if venting into your home, though-

1. RADON...if you are venting air back into your home from lower levels, get a test done. RADON is odorless and colorless and will kill you over time.
2. ODOR CONTROL...make sure your lights/duct connections are airtight so they don't suck any odor out with that vented heat! I had Johnny Law in my home a few times and they had no clue. If you do things right, they never will!
