I started a random bag seed on 11/19

I started 6 NL, 6 AK, and 1 NL (fem) on 11/25

I started 5 aurora indica on 12/1

Light is currently on 18 hours a day. 100 watts blue cfl on 18 hours. 1000 watt hps on 12 hours.

Coco is GH brand. Rinsed, charged, ph'd, buffered, and inoculated.

I watered one for the first time. (my tester bag seed) with 1ml calcium, .5ml Magnesium, .25ml GH micro, .5ml 2-1-3 organic base in 1 quart of aerated tap water. Ph'd to 5.7

AK-48 Looking a little moldy, hopefully beneficial. Haven't watered since I put the seeds in the coco on 11/26.
They are taking forever and stretching a little.

This room is 10x10
I run the cfl 18 hours
and the HPS 12 hours.
I will add seeds slowly for a perpetual harvest while slowly changing the light cycle until I reach a virtual autumn around 5-6 months from now.
So far I have 19 seeds started.
It seems a little cold but getting better.
Staying 60-70ish.
Ambient temperature is around 55-60

dropped the hps 6 inches. Raised the cfl 6 inches. Increased HPS to 14 hours on.
Temp 77-59
RH 22-45%

They are finally growing.

I pulled one seedling that never stood up. It looked like it dampened off.

Getting ready to start 5 more seeds as soon as the Aurora shows its head.

I currently have 13 sprouts.

Cfl on 19 hours and one foot away.
Hps on 14 hours and three feet away.
The humidity is getting too low. around 20-30. I might have to start misting.
Is there anything I can do to get these turtles to grow faster?

They are about a week out of the ground now. Most of these began soaking on 11/25. They where all out of the ground by 12/1.
So I will conclude this as the end of week one. I know I am impatient....but this is hell. If I got clones I would be anticipating the flip soon. But then again if I got clones again I might pick up some more of those evil root aphids I got last time.

I cant decide how many beans to plant for my space. Especially because I'll have to kill males half way through. Will it be inefficient to trigger 24 plants to get 12 females? 24 plants is a lot to me. But 12 females is not too bad.

Will the budding females take up the space of the males after they are taken out?

temp 61-82
RH 20-40%

Feeding 1/2ml each per gallon
GH micro 5-0-1
1% magnesium sulfate

started 6 white rhino today.
kerala and obsession srouting today
31 babies
100 watts cfl
1000 watts hps

I took care of the heat problem by venting the light back into the room. I may need co2. We will see. The furnace also heats the room every 15 minutes.

Day time temperature below 70 will dramatically slow seedling progress.
I also make sure my water is over 60 before it goes in.

I start mine with a mix of 60/40 FFOF/perlite nutes all AN line,I don't think the humidity is a big problem, only when they are sprouting so to keep humidity what I did was cut the bottom part of a 2 liter coke and put 5 holes with a screw driver and heat and mist the homemade dome everytime was drying out but not to much to make it leak," you want the dirt to dry out" after 7 day gave them the first water 50ml wait 4 days, this time I feed them 50% check the ph was at 6.54 and the ppm at 250... 4 more days later again feed them with 75% ph was at 5.98 with a ppm of 950, so after that at day 18 I water probably about 100ml that way I could transplant her cause I saw a lot of root coming from the bottom day 19 I moist the dirt in the new pot no too much and move it with my hand after all that I grab my baby and holding the stem I put her upside down and she came out easy, so I put her in the 2 gallon bucket cover her and moist the new dirt no a lot but enough to be moist. my humidity is always at 15-27% and after that we just have to wait and be patient... I don't know if this info will help you cause I'm a newbie growing but I read a lot before starting...
