Does anybody have experience using these lights? I have 2 1000 watters that pull about 200 Watts a piece and a 2 by 4 by 5 tent. my plants have been growing a little slow so I decided to flip both switches on after 2 weeks and raise my lights to about 28 inches. Also I'm in vegetation right now my question is has anybody used these lights and is that a good distance away from my plants with the full spectrum on? Or should I turn my bloom switch off and just use veg until I'm ready to bloom? I've got so much different information I'm not sure about myself any info on this would be much appreciated

Whole grow, both switches on for sure. I am no expert by any means but I have a similar led. I keep mine between 24-36 inches above the canopy.

BestVa is KingLED. They are the very same company trying to con folks into thinking it's another brand. They will work quite well, but they blow out constantly....around six months of usage. The 1000W actually only draws a little over 200 watts. The optimal coverage area with these is 2x3 ft. for veg at 18 inches. and 2x2 for flower at 18. Not very powerful, but will get the job done. I recommend using 2 of the 1000W models in a 2x4 area for best results. Also, I'd bring them with 12-14 inches over a very even canopy. It will work. Also...it's essential to have both switches on during flower, or you'll cut your PPFD in half. This will give you a PPFD at their centers of around 1127

Yeah I do have two of them in my 2 by 4 by 5 grow tent and plan on getting a couple flowering bulbs also when I flip to flower right now I have both of my lights at about 26 inches. My plants have been growing real slow because of nutrient lockout which I have remedied now I just want them to grow. Here is a pic of my plants in the tent

This is my first grow so I'm really unsure of the distance for the lights because I've been getting so much different information and have yet to speak with anybody who has actually used these lights

You definitely need to lower them to around 18 inches for veg. when flowering stretch is over you want to try to keep them at about 12 to 14 inches away.

Also I just put a cool mist humidifier inside my tent with the fan blowing the mist down on the plants I hope that it doesn't have any ill effects on my LED lights so I'm going to have to keep checking and see if moisture builds up does anybody have experience using cool mist humidifiers inside their grow tent with LED lights?

These lights are the basic of the basic. They are not well made, and you run the risk of really shorting them out with a humidifier because of the holes cut into the glass leaving them completely exposed.

I moved the lights up because I'm not getting any upwards growth so I'm attempting to have them stretch a little. I just flipped both switches on yesterday so I thought it would be a good idea to get them acclimated to the light and then start lowering it but if I should definitely put both of them closer then I will I just don't want to fry my plants

Acclimation is a great thought indeed. There is no way to burn your plants at 18 inches with these lights after acclimation from my personal experience.

At 18 inches you'll roughly get a PPFD of 733 at dead center without taking into consideration the overlap. Actually, you don't need two lights for the veg phase...until they get larger. Also, remember that height growth is not always your friend. These plants double in height at the start of flowering, so keeping them short is ideal.

It's just the plants are so small and compact the leaves are literally on top of each other so I want it to get a little bigger so I can open it up a little bit I've tied all of them down by the main and they have all been fimmed 3x each yesterday so I'm sure that there's going to be a few days stress for them

What is the strain? sounds like a pure indica. Short internodal spacing is actually very desirable for dense compact buds.

From the photo, all looks great other than too much light at this point from two lights, and the fact they are too far away. Cheers!

Do you think it would be best for me to turn one light off and lower it? Or am I okay with both at a high distance? Also thank you so much for your input

I think for the size of the plants at present, it's best to use one light until they get much wider. It doesn't really hurt to have both on, but you are just wasting electricity and putting wear on the light. After you acclimate them, I think it would be best to lower them to around 18 inches as it does not require copious amounts of lights to veg. I'm running a hobby grow...separate from my commercial grows...in an undisclosed location. lol I'm using my old Bestva/KingLED and they are very close because this is week 2 of flower.
