im not the greatest at sexing. I just look for the pistils and even if i dont see any i will wait untill im positive its a male. usually ill wait untill i see a see pod instead of the female flowers before i chuck it..thanks man

hey man, your plants are looking good for a cfl grow. I use to grow with cfls and floros but then decided to step it up and go hid... Im not hatin on cfls at all, its where I started. But if you get the chance for your next grow, Id suggest a 600 watt hps... Your buds will literally be twice the size...I seen your week 3 pics (which look great), If they were under a 600 watt hps, they would be double the size...How long did you veg for? With 2 1/2 gallon pots, you could have easily let them grow to 20 inches before throwing them into flower (maybe you did). The only reason I suggest a hps is because your burning 1000 watts of power and getting half the yeild. I picked my 600 watt hps up for around 250 including shipping....Great work so bro....

i went to lowes this morning and saw it dude...its 20 bucks here and they only have 2700k. if they have 6500k i would have gotten some. but i ended up getting a 6 pack of the 23w's. thats the biggest size they have in the daylight spectrum. your plants are coming along great man, keep it up and keep the watering down lol.
YOU KNOW I MIXED MY LIGHTS IN VEG AND THE ONES UNDER THE 2700K DONE WELL ABOUT AS GOOD AS THE 6500K ONES ANY WAY MAY BE WORTH A TRY AND YES I WILL GO EASY ON THE WATER LMAO

yeah there not bad at all bud.... the bulb is vertical and it recommends you dont put it horizontal, but both of his are and there fine. we made a reflector out of some metal duct and some all thread and nuts to hold it open, so both lights are under 1 reflector...works like a wet dream man I just put 2 6500k cfls in my tote...so now its 3 23w 2700k, 1 40w 2700k, and 2 23w 6500k...4 plants is a little much for my lights but fuck it, if it takes a little longer to finish i dont care. im building a new box anyway lol might hang onto my tote with the lights in it for a mother
