garden nursery or online @tiptopbio.com...the garden nursery in my neighborhood sells themWhere do you buy those at???
^Yes.
I guess if you use the same site enough, they might actually settle in naturally, long-term?
If your lucky they'll come naturally.....I just found two in my garden but theyre still babies... hopefully they stay and get large enough to eat the damn grasshoppers! >=[ if not I'm def gonna buy an egg sack...you get like 100 babies for $9 at the local nursery...don't buy lady bugs tho, they rarely stay...I've tried 3 times just to have them all fly off by morning... the mantis is more likely to stay and some will even let you touch them...its kinda creepy but cool lol
I bought a thing of lady bugs and a few days later I didn't see a single live one. This looks pretty cool though, and if they'll stay longer I will see about getting an egg sack.
They definitely stay longer, if you have a serious enough pest problem - My sister kept about 10 of these through summer in her tiny strawberry patch in a half-barrel. She said in 8 hours they'd hardly move on the leaf she put them, haha.
