10 weeks flowering and it's about to get HOT this week

So this week it is going to keep getting hotter and im not sure my plant can take it. The leaves are already pretty much all dying off but the pistils on the top of the main cola are all still white pretty much. If I had to pull an emergency chop do you think it would still be smokable and somewhat enjoyable? I mean I think it would be at least a little potent after 10 weeks.. Thanks bongsmilie

I have heard that the east coast of the US is getting 100+ degree heat wave for some time. To awnser your question, its really hard to say based on the information you have given. It all really depends on what genetics you are cultivating. Most cannabis strains finish flowering in 8-12 weeks, however that may not be the case for you, idk. Also, you really dont want to judge ripeness by the color of a plants pistils. You need to judge by the color/form of your plants trichomes.

I would say that if it looks like it is starting to shit the bed, and the temp are playing the role or aiding in that, then I would give it an emergency flushing to get as much of those nutrients out. I think it would provide for a "somewhat enjoyable" smoke giving your circumstances, and depending on how well mature the buds are.

I hope i was able to help some.

Alright thanks. It is bagseed so I can't say too much to the strain of it. It is obviously a hybrid, I can't say on the exact but if I had to guess I would probably say 70% sativa 30% Indica, maybe 60/40 as the leaves aren't too long and skinny etc. So if it doesn't get better by tomorrow I think I will chop ;) Thanks again

We're getting some extreme heat where I am. Personally, I love it, but I am insane. My plants must be as well, because I went to check on my two outdoor plants yesterday, and they tripled in size since I planted them. All doing well, just two problems: a) they were a bit mite bitten, and b) looks like BOTH of them might be males..FML.

Still, I am sure the plants can handle it. Does marijuana not originate from the Afghanistan/Pakistan area, naturally? They have some of the most intense heats there in the summer, and yet the plants are bountiful there. I'd say just give the lots of clean water with no nutes and see what happens. Your choice though. I might be wrong, but based on my plants, it seems they're doing fine in the sweltering heat.

I don't doubt yours are going great. It is a lot easier to maintain the high heat outdoor. I'm indoor with poor ventilation at the moment, so it might just be best for me to chop soon if I have to :D

go to walmart or bestbuy, buy a portable AC unit make sure you can return it if you don't like it (maybe have a 10% restock fee) and return it when you're done.

Can't really afford to use any more power or and AC unit would have been bought a while ago.
