10 Plant 4x8 Tent Setup.

Hello,

I'm currently working on my first grow and I've come into a few issues. I'm currently using a 4x8 Lighthouse tent, 10 Plants, and 1000 Watt Light in the middle. I have noticed that the light has been some what of an issue as the plants on the end aren't getting enough due to them being much smaller than the ones in the middle. I'm running DWC and it's been difficult to check the PH and water levels in each individual buckets as you have to currently lift them up and check each plant. What I want to do is probably change to a 12 plant setup, and maybe use one of those premade systems with a res.

Can anyone recommend a good DWC System for me to make life a little easier?

Also can anyone help me with the lightning. I was thinking of changing it to two 600w instead of one 1000w. Problem is I like to use MH for veg, and HPS for flowering. I noticed in my hydrofarm, and sun systems catalog that there aren't any 600 watt MH bulbs. I have found them online from brands I don't really recognize but I don't know if they are good for this purpose. Also I'm using a Yield Master II Supreme hood, and it said on the box that it works with 400 and 1000w MH, and only listens the 600w for HPS.

I appreciate any information you can give.

Thank you

Ive been running a light house 2 x4 tent for a while now and am about to move into the 8x4x7 they have. I actually just purchased the light set up this morning for it. I went with 2 600s. I seen 3 600s recommended for out space but most people I have talked too say two 600s should cut it.

I use cheap ebay 600w MH conversion bulbs in my veg room with great results plus they only run around $25 a pop. I replace them every 3-4 months.

I once ran a similar setup in a 10x4 tent with 8 single site DWC buckets and it was a major pain trying to feed and check each plant. Just all around pain to manage the plants. I tried building a reciculating DWC setup twice. The first time was an under current system but I couldn't get the system to seal up all the way and it would leak and the second setup was the standard recirculating DWC but it just wouldn't dial in and work consistently. I had previously had great success with the single site DWC. I was able to get away without using a chiller with single buckets but in a multiple site setup it think it is a must.

The Current Culture DWC setup would probably work really well but it is expensive. For simplicity I would say Flood/Drain may make a good growing solution and still have great hydro results. If you also are open to doing soil I can recommend a hybrid recirculating drip system for soil that I have been using for some time with the best results so far.

CAP Digilux makes a 600w MH bulb. And I think it's got better lumen ratings than the conversion bulbs.

If you buy anything from CAP, but it locally. Because their online RMA department is notoriously bad. It will save you a big headache to be able to return/exchange any faulty CAP equipment at your local shop, and let them deal with CAP.
