new beds :) for a new room...

ignore the bed with casters on the right I scrapped them.

I am really digging the beds, I think I could use a lot less soil and have better results if I was to get my shit together and grow one run at a time using beds... one run at a time like normal people instead of being all over the place 12/12 from seed with 7 gallons containers.

how do you go about drainage?

it's so big that there is no need for drainage?

How many gallons of soil per plant is in the bed?

Is it plain supersoil or a diluted mix and final question how long will you veg your plants before planting them in the bed?

THANKS

Beds have 5 bales promix, 1 bag perlite, 3 bags castings. Not sure if im gonna just feed with liquid or add some hot soil.

The bottom of the bed is lined with landscape fabric and hardware cloth. The whole bottom drains and the botanicare tray acts as a giant drip pan.

Clones are placed right into the bed 1 plant per square foot, topped once and heavily pruned for budcicles.

i have wanted to try beds indoors for a while, very cool stuff man. i have a 5x5 tent that i am considering building a bed to try it. would a 4x4 bed be the ideal size for that application in your opinion? or should i build as large a bed as possible?

if i were you id go with a 4x4. you can get a 4x4 botanicare tray and make a smaller version of the same beds.

Whats up Kush? Glad to see you back up and running man! Your garden is always an absolute pleasure follow. I think I have said this before but I will say it again… Your tent set up is without a doubt the sickest tent grow I have ever seen. From the clean duct work to the massive AC units, its very impressive.

with much respect 1+rep!

im gonna do it when the current round in the tent is all finished up. its actually two 5x5 tents on a flip flop, one tent will get a 4x4 bed and im thinking il fill it with aprox. 3.5 cubic feet of super soil and and 10.5 cubic feet of bagged soil (roots original is my go-to). does that sound like a good starting point for getting into indoor beds? Also, do you put clones in root cubes right into your beds or do you let them root in a small pot of soil before they get their final home? thanks for the help man, and i really like checkin' out the soil info you have posted up here.

edit: i plan to build an drip system for even consistent watering and i plan to use my spacequeen dom cut of spacedawg (average hybrid stretch and thick sexy flowers).
