10 F562b Samsung Strips 4 custom 660nm reds

Ok so I have 10 560mm f562b strips. 24v wired in parallel with a Hlg320h-24b driver. Which has external dimmer. I have a baylight voltage, wattage, and amperage display. For some reason I'm only pulling like 86 watts. Any ideas of why??? And only 3.62 amps. I should be somewhere around 300+ watts20180311_163654.jpg

Wrong driver choice. Your strips aren't seeing enough voltage. The driver to use for parallel setups is the HLG-320H-24A. It allows both current and voltage to be adjusted.

That whole external dimming feature is just way overrated. I've yet to feel the need to "adjust" my lights. Once they are set that's it.

It's the exact same driver as the 24b the pot doesnt change the driver other than how it dims. Correct?

Should I change to series?
Or just go to a hlg-480h-24

Here's the specs that I built it off of
Even at 23.4v the amperage shoukd be 13.00+ which is over 300+ watts

Could be a bad or wrong pot, try disconnecting it. Did you use 100k pot?
Yup and I tried unhooking it up. Which should be max power. And it' not 300+ watts. I'm completely stumped.

If I disconnect the pot. Should I connect the dimmer wires together or leave them apart for max power

The A series uses two internal adjustments, one for VOLTAGE and one for the current. The B series has no way to adjust voltage. Your strips need more voltage to get the current up. Disconnecting the pot wont do it. You need an A series driver. No other way around it.

Well that sucks now.im stuck with this driver. Bc arrow doesn't allow any returns. They are fukn joke.

Debating on going with the hlg480h-24a And just turn it down some.

Leave it disconnected - Another question - what size wires are you using? and how long are they?

I'm just gonna have to eat the 90 bucks and order another driver. I'll never order anything else from arrow again. They don't even have it listed that there is no returns.

I can go to 14awg stranded. But I didn't want to use stranded
What does everyone have against stranded wire? Stuff works great and is actually flexible to boot. I fail to see the negatives. Go 14g from the driver to the blocks and from block to block. Go 16g or 18g from the blocks to the strips. That will minimize any voltage loss on your wires and increase current, but I don't think it will be enough. You need a voltage adjustment that the A series drivers provides.

Quick question - where *exactly* in the circuit is that current/power meters connections placed?
